The world of Mountainside, a boarding school in the middle of a forest in a small valley between two large mountains in a very large mountain range, is an odd world indeed. On first glance, everyone appears to be normal. But who is that strange girl over there who's so tall and has such an elegant walk? And who is the short boy over there who seems to have a beard but is no taller than your elbow?
This is the place humans and others come to learn, MountainSide High, a large, old building with mountains and trees everywhere, a waterfall nearby, and a good hike above the school, a gigantic tree that holds some mysterious secrets. The school is anything but calm with a large population of teenagers (and some irresponsible and responsible adults) running around. The chaos increases as magic is brought into the story. Humans aren't supposed to know about magic, but how long will it take before a human learns about magic and it's uses? How long before bad things start happening to people because of the magical beings that inhabit the forest?
