OOC Comment: I shouldn't have to say this, but because there are human wastes of space I do. This guild invites members of all religions, race, sexual preference, etc etc etc. If you act in a racist, sexist, bigoted, or just general utter d**k sort of way - we will kick you out. There are rules for a reason. Be considerate is on there for a reason. If you can't accept other people, this isn't the guild for you. If you want to try to say we should accept people that are raging assholes too - sorry all our acceptance was used up on all the reasonable choices they hate : )

Guild History/Storyline Opening: There was a scar on the world after the defeat of Ywhach at the hands of the heroes in the last age, and after the 'all mighty' was brought low heaven and hell both grew dark, silent, and without purpose - or, that is as much as anyone knows. On the same day as the leader's demise, some hypothesis in the same moment, what seemed to be most of the powerful creatures in the spiritual world woke on earth.

Many Shinigami fought to not just defend themselves, but the mortals of Karakura Town from the influx of new and dangerous souls (such as arrancar or hollow ejected from Heuco Mundo). It took them days to organize some peace, and by then many mortals had died in the crossfire. In this time they realized that the 1st squadron leader and general of the Shimigami was missing. Without their main leader, the remaining squadrons swiftly fell to in-fighting. Eventually a new leader was appointed, but by then the damage had been done and many Shinigami had defected and left the ranks leaving an already broken army even more short handed as it searched for a way to return to Soul Society.

Yet, they were not alone, the Fullbringer organization also fell apart with the disappearance of their leaders, and they are often left as independents and lone-wolves with a few 'packs' that roam together. They lack any central leadership and many are afraid they will be hunted out by the many different creatures that now roam their city.

With many Quincy dead after Ywhach's 'adoption' of their powers, those that remained disagreed as to what path to take, they broke into two factions, one that supported the return of the Shinigami and another that wished to see them ended, still bitter after the long war. Becoming friend and foe both...

The red-headed step child of the Shinigami, the Vizard, were accepted back into the fold, but remain rare exceptions to the average Shinigami that are often watched closely because of their sometimes volatile nature. They are more rare now than they were before the war.

Perhaps the worst new tenants of all were the Togabito, residents of hell that escaped during 'The Abandon' which is what the mass banishment has come to be called. They were powerful and caused many problems for the other factions all around for a long time. Some of them still wander, causing issues or just hoping to live a life outside of the hell they escaped - either way so far hell hasn't come calling to return them...so defeating or imprisoning them are the only ways to deal with them if they are aggressive souls.

All of these factions surviving in the same space made the city even more a target of the wandering darker souls and at the same time...the first one that 'won' the race to return to their place were the arrancar. Which often make raids and attacks on the world of the living...amused at their ability to return to their realm where the Shinigami are currently unable to follow.

The Shinigami meanwhile finally developed a method by which they believed they could return to Soul Society, but when the gate opened, the door was passed through on both sides. A few members went through toward the soul society, but at the same time new souls appeared in Karakura town as well. These ancient souls passed by the Shinigami standing watch, slipping past captains as if they meant incredibly little, leaving the whole army to invade soul society if it wished...

The lack of threat they saw caused the Shinigami leaders to call an end to the return before it began...they now had the means to return but a lack of understanding of these new creatures they needed to face. The orders were to find and speak with these new residents of their home...to decipher what they wanted...and why they had appeared.

Cast of Characters

Every player my have seven characters, of these characters 3 may be of a 'strong' level while the rest need to be of a general level.

Exception: You may have a 4th 'strong' level slot as long as the character is a bad guy and you go in knowing they will likely not survive. People looking to actively work against the players are villains of various types, arrancar, and most togabito fall under this.

Character levels strong/general:

- - Shinigami: Captain, Lt, 3rd Seat Shinigami or anyone with a Bankai is considered a strong level character. Anyone of a lower seat or lacking a Bankai would be general level character.
- - Vizard: Always a Strong level
- - Quincy: Leaders as well as A-C ranked of the two factions will be a strong level. Otherwise, level will vary based on powers/skill with those powers on a case to case basis.
- - Arrancar: Espada and the Leader will be a strong level. Otherwise, level will vary based on powers/skill with those powers on a case to case basis.
- - Aspect: Always a Strong level.
- - Togabito: Always a Strong level.
- - Fullbringer: Level will vary based on powers/skill with those powers on a case to case basis.
- - Human: Always considered General level.

You may have only one Strong character in any race. Vizard also count as Shinigami for this. If you have a Captain or Vizard then your other two 'strong' character's would need to be of other races. (for example: A quincy and an aspect).
