Redview is known for it's beautiful lake and top notch school. It's also known for the rivalry between the richer and poorer side of the town. For years it's gone on, neither side ever really acknowledged the other, unless it's to start something. the richer side of town was breed to look down on the other side since they are usually always involved in gangs, drugs, jail, and other things. The poorer side is taught to hate the people who think they are better than the rest of them because they involve themselves in things that will protect there family. Due to this rivalry any relationships between either side is a big no no. Any one caught in doing this is ignored or treated so badly they break apart or just leave in general. Change seems impossible and even the teachers seem to give up in living in a diverse area. They go on, living in there separate lives so what happens when a curve ball is thrown and the new principal of the school forces the kids to have a buddy system? One were the students are forced to have partners, a student from each side, and by the end of the year they are expected to have a project based on what they learned from the other. It's not going to be a walk in the park but they do it or are forced to fail and stay back another year and do it all over again, only this time all dances and other activities will be taken away. With that in mind the students try but trying is not the same as actually doing.
