High School of the Dead is a manga series written by Daisuke Satō and illustrated by Shōji Satō. It is is set in the present day, beginning as the world is struck by a deadly pandemic that turns humans into zombies, euphemistically referred to by the main characters as "them". The story follows Takashi Komuro, a Japanese student at Fujimi High School who survived the initial outbreak along with several of his classmates and the school nurse, and occasionally jumps to the perspective of other characters.
The plot is initially concerned with the cast's physical survival and escape from the titular high school and zombies, but as the series proceeds it introduces the additional threats of societal collapse, in the form of dangerous fellow survivors and the possible decay of the characters' own moral codes.
T.H.E P.L.O.T
In the city of Osaka, everyone is enjoying a peaceful morning. Unknown to the people, not only of Japan, but of the world, a military experiment has gone wrong, releasing a terrible virus that enters into the dead, regenerating their nerve and muscle cells, bringing them back to life. The Japanese and American government was experimenting with this virus to bring back the dead and use them as super soldiers in war, but things went horribly wrong when one of the vials broke. It took no time at all for the virus to spread everywhere. These zombies may be slow, but they are strong and swarm in large numbers. They seek to consume flesh and further the regeneration of their own tissue. In less than an hour the outbreak spreads across the globe, stirring chaos and corruption. Now the infected become the undead and people are fleeing, casting away their morality and regard for the laws of society in favor of survival. Now the worldwide infection begins, but it will not simply stop at zombies. These undead creatures, these infected are growing, evolving and becoming more intelligent. Soon the world may find itself on the verge of a new world order with these undead at the top of the food chain.

1.] No God-Motting, One hit Kill kind of crap. Well, of course to other roleplayers. If it's a zombie, and you happen to bash them in the skull, then that's fine. biggrin
2.] Obey the Gaia ToS. I don't want to get this guild shut down because of dim witted people who don't obey rules.
3.] No cybering. It's disgusting, and who would do so in the first place when there are zombies all over the place?! Seriously!!
4.] There is a limit of 2 characters per person.
5.] Gore, Violence, Swearing, and Romance is encouraged, but there is a line and a limit to everything. Don't go over it, keep it within PG-16.
6.] Be active!!! This is a very important rule. Us moderators understand everyone has a personal life, a job and whatnot. But it doesn't hurt to post at least 3 times a week. We do keep track of how many posts every participant is doing, and if we realize that you are not posting, or stopped posting for quiet sometime, we will send you a warning PM. If you do not respond, we will send another two more. Within the third strike, and you still do not respond, you will be removed. If you are going somewhere, on a vacation, or will be away from internet access for quiet sometime, tell us!! That way it prevents any of us from removing you!!
7.] Moderators word MUST be followed. We are here for a reason! We worked very hard on this guild, and would love for you to participate. But you MUST listen to us. If not, you will receive warnings. If you do not listen, you will be banned.
8.] Remember to always have fun smashing in Zombie brains!
9.] Please provide a paragraph or two of a roleplay sample when asking to join the guild.
