When a group of abnormal beings begins to arise and cause trouble, what do you do? Do you join them because you, too, find yourself to be an outcast from the rest of the human race? Or do you fight against them because you fear what they might become? The choice may be yours... but which side is right will be a debate for the ages.

Set in America in the year 2113, the Blackguards, a group that was formed for those with abnormal abilities and features, has been around for quite some time... but they've merely been hiding in the shadows until now. Just recently have they begun revealing their presence in various places around the globe. But the sudden revelation was made more shocking when it was shown that some of these "creatures" managed to get seated into official government positions in a number of different countries. Humans began to revolt against these newcomers, and in many countries, they were prosecuted. But America, reluctantly aware of past mistakes, was forced to allow the presence of these beings, but only if they agreed to be removed from office. This has led to a not-so-peaceful civil rights campaign on the Blackguards' parts and they refuse to back down until they're given what they deserve. But what they believe that is has yet to be determined.

A ragtag group of rebels--calling themselves Prometheus--sees through the Blackguards' facade and refuses to accept their demands. They dedicate their purpose to expose what the Blackguards are conducting behind the curtain and they will attempt to thwart the Blackguards' riots and rallies. And though there has yet to be any physical proof of their foes' deception, they won't quit until they find it or die trying. But will these men and women be able to succeed in their task...? Or will the Blackguards avoid being exposed by human hands?

This is where the story will begin... are you ready to choose which side is right?









1: Obey your superiors. This includes the crew and captains, depending on your position.

2: Keep this PG-13 and obey Gaia's ToS. No sexy-sexy.

3: If you wish to join, copy, paste, and fill out the request form found below into your join request.

4: Your alignment choices are the Blackguards or Prometheus. Pick one.

5: You are allowed as many characters as you wish. Just try not to overwhelm yourself.

6: If you pose as a constant problem, you will be given one warning... and then I'll be forced to remove you from this Role Play/Guild.

7: No killing off or severely altering a character's story without the owner's permission. Don't worry, there will be some throw-away characters for ya'll.

8: No god-modding.

9:This is a semi-literate. Posts must be 1 paragraph long as the posting norm. 3 sentences is the minimum if you are having writer's block but don't get into a habit of it.

10: The language of this roleplay is english, you may use phrases and words in different languages sparsely but don't put your character's dialogue into google translator and make it purely of that language.

11: If you plan on making your character a witch or wizard or something close to that, run it by us please first by asking the vice captain, Chronographus. We do not want many magical people running around since our plot dictates that only so few are surviving as of today.
