Welcome to the original Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel guild! A place for fans of both shows to chat, debate and role play. We are not an RP specific guild, but we will have an extensive section for it. Please don't ask to join if you don't plan on posting, we only want active members!

* Don't leave your join request blank or you will be ignored.

* Please please PLEASE try to keep yourself literate. Leet/chat-speak are strongly discouraged. If we can hardly understand your join request it will be turned down. This and the above reason are the only reasons a join request will be denied.

* Make sure you have enough gold to join, and KEEP enough gold until you are accepted. (Entry fee is currently free)

* Debating is encouraged. Excessive flaming is not.

* Please keep the squeeing fangirlism mainly in the
squeeing fangirl threads.

* Please keep introductions in the introduction sticky &.&

* Don't stretch pages, don't quote large first posts and/or pictures.

* People named Sephiroth and or Goku may not be allowed to join due to
their complete lack of originality!

* Under no circumstances is Angel to <I>ever</I> be spelled angle. Failure to comply with this rule may result in ruthless mocking.


-Policy on thread deletion and member banning-
Repeat threads that are made on the same page, or have been pushed back to page two due to lack of response will be deleted without warning. A thread that repeats an old thread that is pushed beyond page two and has a considerable amount of posts may be left alone, or a link to the thread it is repeating will be posted and the thread locked as we see fit.

Members who insist on making repeat threads, using excessive net-speak, or generally being jerks will be warned a maximum of three times before being banned.

-Policy on marking spoilers-

Some of our members haven't seen all of one or both series, so please be careful about ruining certain surprises. If a topic is centered around spoilers <B>please mark it as so</B>. Please DON'T post the spoiler in the topic name! For internal spoilers that are somewhat related to the topic of discussion or off topic you would be wise to say "this post contains spoilers" at the top, or if it's a really bad spoiler please put it in white text with something like "Spoilers below!".

Try your best not to spoil anyone who doesn't want to be. While it is very unlikely that you will be banned for accidental spoilage, overt intentional spoilage in topic names and the like is a SERIOUS offense. You will receive ONE warning for this type of violation and one only.


-Policy on Role-playing threads-

You can't just decide you want to make an RP thread and then make it. The Buffyverse is going for quality over quantity here, and there have been far too many failed RPs that have been abandoned due to lack of plot and direction.
If you wish to start an RP, please mail the guild leader (Darlana Blackwater) with a short description, and plot overview. If you are accepted, you will be allowed to make your thread and start recruiting, in whatever manner you see fit.
