The Manor of Reincarnate still stands against the dark skies. It has been lived in by Reincarnate for more years than are worth counting. The floors have seen many different footprints. But Reincarnate always remains, lingering and waiting...unable to leave her forgotten Haven.
Here gather those who are finished wandering or those passing through until they find whatever they may be seeking. Though the Manor's size might seem as if it holds the hearts of many, it holds very few. Few are loyal to its dusty hallways and the mistress who rules them.
The Story
Too long ago, Reincarnate took up a relationship with a human. For angels to have lovers was a vile sin. And angelic sinners have no place in heaven. Reincarnate was found out because she was betrayed by a fellow angel whom she had thought was her friend. Appolyn's jealousy was quenched only when the judgement passed that Reincarnate was exiled from heaven and would take the plunge to the earthly world. She fell...
Her punishment was to live forever in a darkened manor. When she would sleep, she would dream of that which she had given up. When she awoke she would be forever haunted with the silent halls of the manor, the knowledge that her human lover would never be able to find her, and that she would live her days alone.
However...others did find her. They sought her out, some journeying to the manor just to see if the rumors were true, others stumbling upon the Manor by happenchance and finding it a place that they could rest at. Soon she wasn't so alone.
