Barton Town is the center of Gaia as far as activity, and location. In one direction Aekea, and the other is Durem. Both have their specific attractions, but none with quite the diversity of Barton. The only problem is that it's so built up, that no one can ever find anything. So, one distinguished individual got some grants by the leadership of Gaia, to build an academy outside of Barton proper.

He chose the plains on the direction towards Durem.

A sprawling four story building juts out of practically nowhere with only a brick wall hiding any of its view from ten foot down, a road deviating from the main freeway to Barton, and leading up to the high walled enclosure at a gate with a fork. The gates have two wakazashis crossed over each gate tower. The one on the right controls a path for those coming into the academy, and the one on the left for those going out.

The four story building itself is built of dragonwood, and has the words "Gaian Kensei Academy" in block letters on a bill board of sorts nailed across the top before the roof. There are windows on each floor with wooden blinders, and the sides of the building have various weapons running along it. From polearms, to guns, to swords, even wands and staffs can be seen.

The four story building itself is 15 yards wide, and barbed wire can be seen running another 50 yards in each direction. The building is 30 yards deep, butt he barbed wire enclosures run even further. In each enclosure there are racks of weapons under tents, with some having wooden targets and bulls eyes at the end of them.

Inside the main Academy building however, is a whole different world.
