There will be several different RPs going on in this guild at a time. Each with a different setting, set of characters, and storyline. Above all, I want good, clean, eloquent writing. I don't want to be bored to death by your posts, or have to transcribe them from this strange language called "terrible English". Which, by the way, is the language of this guild. English. If you're speaking anything else, I won't be able to understand you, so I don't know if you're breaking my rules, and I won't know how to reply to you. Sorry for my ignorance, but that's how it's going to be.

With all that said, here is the list of official roleplay rules

Rule One
No godmodding. I swear. Give someone else a chance. Your character can't possibly hit everyone all of the time, unless I give you special permissions (which will be described in a later paragraph). You don't have the living embodiment of perfection. You won't. No Mary Sue's, no Gary Stu's, none of that crap. This also includes metagaming. Your character will never be allowed to read another character's mind or memory and be like "I'M TELLING EVERYONE YOUR DEEPEST DARKEST SECRET THAT YOU PUT ON YOUR CHARACTER SHEET". No. That's rude and stupid and I will kick you from the guild.

Rule Two
What I say is law in this guild. If I say you can't have blue eyes, there's a ******** method to my madness that I will explain at some point. When that point comes is dependent upon the question of whether or not it's a spoiler for my storyline. My characters and the scenes I set up are made to guide you on a fun and enjoyable path of adventure. Don't get your panties in a bunch just because I won't let your character be a nobleman with one arm. Or a cyclops. Or whatever I deny you. Just deal, and you'll find out there's a good reason for it.

Rule Three
Sex and romance at an absolute minimum, as per the Gaia Terms and Conditions. There is nothing against implying sexual activity, but I can't have you writing a smut fic. And too much romance can cause a situation to become uncomfortable for other players. Make everyone feel welcome.

Rule Four
If you can't type a legible sentence, I can't accept your posts as having been written. If English isn't your first language, okay, I can understand some of that, but it actually tends to be that little American teenagers (I'm an American, I KNOW) are the main offenders of this. Just... learn how to better set up a sentence and reread your stuff.

Rule Five
Somewhat building off of Rule Two, I have certain rights as a guild captain that allow me to do certain things for you and your characters. If, for example, I am greatly impressed by your writing skill and character creation, I might grant you the ability to make an "invincibadass". Now, these characters MUST be well thought out and realistic as sentient beings go. For example, a few years ago, an old friend I had created a bad guy character for my old guild. The guy just COULD. NOT. DIE. No matter what the main characters did, he would always reappear in the storyline alive and well. Because he was A GOOD DAMN CHARACTER. We always let him slink away somehow, too concerned in saving our own characters, and I would let him live to be an a** another day. And it actually was really nice, having him as a constant villain. So some characters may be able to gain immunity from the chopping block, if they are worthy.

Rules are subject to change. Conditional rules are outlined in each corresponding RP thread. If you are unhappy with a rule, then this probably isn't the place for you. I'm very lenient with a lot of things, but I need to enhance the RP experience with good writing, so that is the golden rule.
