Hello, and welcome to DWAWP. Come on in, don't be shy. Everyone is welcome here from the poorest poet to the neediest novelist. If your weapon is your words then I assure you that you are in the right place.
So what is DWAWP? Well, in the simplest sense it is a guild for writers, a place for them to get together and do what they do best. However, there's more to us then just that. Want critique on your work? Great. Post it in the appropriate forum and we'll take a look at it for you. Need some advice? Look no further as we have a forum for that too. Then of course there's that horrid disease known as writer's block. If you happen to be suffering from it, your mind blank of all idea and drive fret not! The inspiration thread is for you, offering a plethora of creative goodies to get your brain waves rippling again.
This is a place where everyone of this strange breed can share their passion, offer others a helping hand, and simply relax. There is no pressure to do anything you do not want to, only the support you need to let your writing take off for greater heights. This is a true writing support group, the AA of the literary inclined if you will. So don't be shy, pull up a chair, pull out your pens and let the words flow. We'll be right here if you need us. ^_^
If you are a writer (novelist, poet, lyricist, etc.) and you think this guild could be for you, great! Send us a request and we'll get right back to you! Be sure to include what kind of writer you are and specifically why you want to join (sadly, just saying the name is cool is not enough to grant you entrance).
