I know that we have all had moments where nothing makes sense. Where even through great effort, nothing good can be achieved. When there is too much shame to ask a good friend for help. Or, when it is me who has become the enemy. How I have done things I have condemned others for. Or, perhaps where friends wear the masks of enemies. There are times where help can not be found or called for. Be this in the middle of the night, in a dark alley or, within the company of “friends”. We have all felt lost and helpless. But there is hope.
Calm your fear and take my hand. You are here now. Safe in the band of those who have been where you have been. This is a group of survivors who have lived through adversity. We are the band of the brave; the realm of courage.
