The White November instantly became famous the moment the tickets hit the market. Demand rose, and prices soared higher than any ship's tickets had ever in the past. It quickly became clear that the only people that were going to travel on it were the few billionaires of the world (with a couple millionaires mixed in).
Days passed, and finally, the big trip came. Hundreds of cars showed up, some carrying passengers and others carrying reporters. The people who had been lucky enough to get tickets ran into the boat, eagerly inspecting and observing every detail of it, no matter how minute. Even the crew of the ship nodded their heads in approval. Nobody was disappointed in the ship.
The boat left the pier and began its voyage at one o'clock that day, slowly retreating from the shore where the passengers' family members were gathered and waving their good-byes. The passengers themselves were giddy with excitement, even though they tried to mask it in an effort to maintain their professional air.
Later, though, the voyage took a rather unpleasant turn for the worse when the clouds unleashed a heavy rainfall and made the waves thrash and rock the boat. The people on board screamed in terror, scared with the knowledge of what might happen if the ship continued to rock.
It swayed for hours. But soon the boat could take no more, and gave in to the harsh water. The decks began to fill with water, and starboard tipped a little too close to the water for comfort...
This time, however, it did not sway back. It leaned into the waves, sending muffled yells and screams into the air as the people fell into the ocean. The life boats were useless, as no one had been able to get to them in time, and even if they had, the boat had crushed half of them in its fall.
Luckily, there was land on the horizon, as one of the survivors pointed out. The few still alive nodded there heads in silent agreement and began to make their way over, helping each other out as they swam.
At long last, the people reached shore and gazed about in wonder at the mysterious island that they were to live on until help came.
