We will handpick the best of the best, and only those that have proven themselves tough enough will survive the rigorous and demanding life of a marine. You the recruit will have a basic knowledge and understanding of the Corps, be fit mentally, and have the proper bearing to withstand intense combat, as well as asschewings. Reporting to inspections and drills will be mandatory, and I expect each and every one of you to follow the rules and guidlines expressed in the Jarhead's manual.
