In the world of The Shade Brigade, there are things that are similar, yet different to the world we call home. First off, their are no aircrafts, no planes no helicopters. I am about 400 years old. In the past I was a skilled assassin who was murdered as his skills had threatened his employers. Once the job was done, I had fought tooth and nail to survive the tortures of the after life, and had crossed back over to the world of the living, though without my memory. We are now in the modern age, each of us with special abilities. There are mutants, zombies, demons, angels, elves, you name it, running across the land torturing and slaughtering mankind. Some towns have been completly destroyed, some left untouched as they are not a threat to any kind of civilization, and some put on lockdown with large walls built on their borders raising high into the sky. As the creatures of the mythical world mix with a new strand of biomortis-virus, corpses or individuals infected begin to rise once more after death. The world is in panic, and thats where we come in. We are an elite group hidden in the shadows, we are the endless shade that shields the innocent from the light. It is our job to stop these appocalyptic forces from completly wiping out humanity. Our forces may come and go, the innocent may turn against us based on what their precious goverment tells them, but remember the creed we live by. We are the endless shade that shields you from the light.
In this world you will find many stories of people just like you who have created there own alternate personas to act out their wildest dreams. You see all they had to do was get it approved by those who first sought and founded The Shade Brigade. That would be your Captain and your Vice Captains. You're empowered to do great! We don't want the this Guild to get all cluttered and disorganized, so we recommend you ask our Captain if you want to start your own role-playing so we can give you a posting place, this way you can start if from scratch and soon build your own little world!
I don't approve of bad behavior in The Shade Brigade so there is nothing to fear! Please read on these points I have set out for you...
Remember these rules are forever!!! You must follow them!
1.) Always follow the Gaiaonline T.O.S.
2.) Always follow the Guild Administration.
3.) No flaming up anybodies perfect world.
4.) If they're present, follow any custom rules of each forum.
5.) Please try to restrain from R-Rated words, but we will understand if they just slip out.
6.) Please, we like to have nice long worth-while role-plays so can you keep your posts nice and long with at least 2-3 sentences.
7.) Please notify administration through a PM Message how to start your own forum.
8.) Please join at least one role-play guild and stay active!
9.) If you are completely clueless on what to do and you don't know how to role-play please tell us. Your Captain Freak aka iiFreakshow for example, will help you whenever you need help.
10.) Understand, you need a profile to roleplay, and to get a profile you need to use the appropriate profile skeleton, which I will post in one of the forums.
11.)Members who run forums or not must keep there posts organized and legible! Meaning, no text talk! Words that are written out is best!
