The Story:

What happens when your shipwrecked on an uninhabited island? Your Stranded. With no way to call for help what do you do? You survive. Your on an island that hasn't even been marked on the map. There is no one to help you but the people who survived the crash.

The year is two-thousand and three, a large vessel travels off the coast of New Guinea. Unaware Captain Moreland sails straight into a fierce and terrible storm the ship was suppose to withstand powerful waves and large storms but something went wrong something wasn't right with the ship. As they were sailing through the storm it somehow crashed into a large rock, perhaps the rain and the dark of night made it hard to see but whatever happened the ship crashed. It was time to abandon ship, it was every man for himself. There were at least one or two hundred people, for the people who didn't get onto the lifeboats they were doomed. There was no hope to repair the ship, their only choice was to jump from the ship into the hellish water. Most everyone made it to the shore with little to no injuries. If they jumped and didn't die or get injured they had to get to the nearby shore. Those who weren't drowned or eaten by sharks made it the shores of the island. But what happen's next? Nothing. Your stranded now, with nothing but the clothes on your back and your companions who survived the crash but are you truly along? Late at night the waters stir and the bushes rattle what lays doormat waiting for you?

This is a LITERATE roleplay. "What does that mean?" Simple. The minimum you must have in your post is a paragraph. A six sentence paragraph! But, you also need to have a good grasp on the english language. I don't want to cringe when I read your post. Be the reason a million and ten typos, not knowing the difference between 'to', 'too', and 'two', or having a mary sue character. Though, that last one won't happen if I have any say in the matter. And, what do you know, I do. There is this neat little thing that everyone should know. It's called spell check. It comes with word, or for free on Macs. If you want to join, it's going to be your best friend. And if you don't use it, I'll be your worst nightmare. Oh! Right. One liners will not be tolerated. That is a load of bullshit and is the polar opposite of literate. If you post a one liner, not only will you be kicked out, I will not tell you the reason why, nor will I be nice about kicking you out. I also won't allow you to explain the reason you posted a one liner. Yes, everyone gets writer's block. NO! It is NOT okay to type a god damn sentence reply.

Oh my god, what do you know! We all have lives outside the computer. I know that, you know that, we all know that. Which means none of us have an excuse to be an a** to someone for not posting if they were gone, had family//life issues, or something else that had nothing to do with the computer. All I ask is that you try to post once a week if not more. But you will NOT be in trouble if you can't. As for the ooc thread, you don't have to ever post in there. It'd be nice if you did so we didn't start thinking we were roleplaying with a robot, but still: not mandatory. I would like it if you could post in the ooc thread if you know you're going to be gone for a rather long stretch of time. It's just so that I don't kick you out for inactivity. And yes, I will do that. If I haven't heard from you in a long time, I will assume that you dropped it and will open your slot for someone else.

Oops, I know, long rule... paragraph... thing. But! It's because there's a lot of information that goes in this category. When posting, you need to make your posts pretty. You don't have to make it so that I grovel at your feet, a picture and name will do. Actually, a name and picture are mandatory. Pictures shouldn't be so big that they stretch the page, nor should I see any small icon pictures either. As for the name... well, without it, how are we supposed to know who we're talking to? Cursing is allowed, but try to limit it. I don't want to see an entire post in all asterisks. All posts are to be in third person. Please use font sizes 10 to 12. Anything else and you are gone. Lastly, please do not take up pages and pages of our ic thread for ooc. If you need to talk in ooc, use brackets at the end of your post. [ooc;; this would be an example].

You have three choices. Survivor, Pirate, Aztec. Humans are the only race.. there are no vampires, werewolves, Cthulhu's, nothing else, do not even try it. As well, do not even try to enroll a mary sue or gary stu. It's not going to happen. No one is perfect. No one! Make your character interesting. Make them flawed. Give them an OCD, or something they always carry with them, something interesting that makes them unique! Humans are flawed, but please, look over the personalities of the characters already accepted! I would like to keep away from twenty or so bad a** characters. Especially if there is only one or two nerds. I don't want to have ten people gang up on one person. That's a little excessive. Let's make this interesting! Alas, anime pictures only. It jut works better in this story // roleplay.

This is the part I tend to get a**l and pissy about. So, listen carefully. No skimming. When you fill out the profile, please fill it in correctly! Do not delete anything and only change the things that say you may change. Basically the color and information. If it is not filled in correctly, you will have one chance to fix it and correct your mistakes. If it is not filled in correctly the next time you turn it in, I am denying you acceptance.

There are no third chances. If you worry that you will miss something, use a test thread. Worried that you accidentally deleted part of the code? Preview your profile in a test thread and compare it to the first few profiles in the profile thread. If you don't know what went wrong? Copy over the form again and start over. Better to be safe than sorry right? You are not allowed to post them in the ooc, ic, or profile thread. I will be posting them. Not you. There is no max to the number of characters you can play, but please. Don't pick more than you can handle

Remember, this is a PG-13 site. Guess what that means. I do not want to see anything too graphic, no auto-hits or god-like characters. You can't dodge everything, make it fair. Let's not forget that no one wants to read your damn sexual fantasies. If you and another character get to the point where clothing is coming off and getting sexual, time freaking skip! Or you will be kicked out permanently. No warnings, and you will never be allowed back.

I do want to mention that there will be a point in time where the plot line comes across full force. At that point, there will be violence and blood. If you cannot handle that, or you are a bit squeamish, please keep this in mind when joining. I don't want to hear complaints since this is a fair enough warning. I especially love describing gore, though I will try to keep it under control, it is still something to consider.

We Captains/Vice Captains are the Kings here. What we say goes. We are usually really nice, contrary to the voice of these rules, but start pushing the buttons and, well, not so much.

Okay, here's the deal. I am tired of INSTA-ROMANCE! I understand being a hopeless romantic, but I understand how real relationships work as well. Most 'love-at-first-sights' do not end well! Relationships take time to develop. They involve a lot of talking and getting to know one another before anything happens. So, I used to say that you had to wait until page ten, but now I'm changing that rule. You need to have a lot of communication happen between the two characters before jumping into that cesspool. Ah! One more thing about the insta-romances. I've seen too many people who 'claim' characters. There is none of that!! It's simply to get a better feel for a character, be a small indication of POSSIBLE relationships, and to [possibly] add drama. How? That's for you to decide. But I don't want to see any claiming of characters. Keep things realistic.
