A dark prophecy has been foretold, of the town of Windals. Soon, the gates of the Underworld will swing forth to let the darkest of evil loose upon the world.
I am Mirra, Oracle of Fate, this story I tell you is a harsh one, and not to be taken lightly. One-thousand years ago, there existed three great human kingdoms, Windals, Velvetta, and Lithviel. The kingdoms existed in minor peace, until the king, Kron of Velvetta set to attack Windals in a thirst for power. In the first attack on Windals the king of the elves, Endured Lightsong was lost. In his grief Endured’s brother Galexgan used the tome of ‘Death’ in an attempt to bring his lost brother back, but found he had brought a demon like no other in his place. With the elves being lead into the darkness with the Velvetta, the Queen of Windals Taiana, sent a pleading message to the Lithviel king, Gregory, as well as the Kingdom of the Angels, Amazons, and the remaining untainted elves. With their help, Windals was able to lock the evil away and win the war, thus leaving only the two human kingdoms left.
Now one-thousand years later Elrenia Lightsong, younger sister to Endured and Galexgan is the ruler of the elves. But little does she know that within her court lies a viper waiting to take her throne. A prophecy foretold by the Amazon Shaman, Annirah, states that an elf of high rank will steal the tome of ‘Death’ to bring forth not only the evil that was locked away so many years ago but the demons locked with them. But Ai, hope still holds, the prophecy says that a champion of great skill may find the tome of ‘Life’ lost at the end of the war, and lock the evil away again. But it only appears once every thousand years and only five may enter to retrieve it. To find the champion and the four to accompany him, a contest is being held for all beings, but beware, the most powerful of beings will enter in hopes of winning, even Alyana, leader of the Kingdom of the Angels, and Grim’ring, leader of the lost Devils. The only hope for this world is that the champion is good, and not evil himself.
