Peace has spread across the Five Great Ninja Villages: Leaf, Mist, Sand, Sound, and Cloud. Many treaties have risen between once-warring countries, while previously allying lands have strengthened their bonds. However, in the past few years, many catastrophes have caused wars to spread across the Ninja villages. Rogue ninjas have began attacking other villages; especially the ones their home village have made pacts with. Uneducated on whether or not these ninja have been sent by the Kage, or leaders, of the other villages, the attacked villages have began breaking the treaties in order to ensure safety for their village and their people. Some treaties have managed to survive through all this confusion, giving hope that peace had not been lost.
We all know of the the Five great kingdoms of Ninja: Leaf, Mist, Sand, Sound, and Cloud. Together they have been living peacefully with each other. Except the past few years, things have started to happen. Like the fact that some 'rouge' ninja have been attacking other villages. This has started some of them to heighten their defenses. The treaties that have kept the very different villages in peace are starting to fade as tension starts to raise. However, some villages have kept a few allying villages. A great war may lie in the near future unless the villages can learn to trust one another again.
There are nine demons spread around the villages; each hidden within a human host. A sinister group known as the Akatsuki is hunting these people, wanting the demons inside them. They have been hard to track, as the preparation to the war has been the main focuses of the Five Kage.
There has also been word of another rouge group of Ninja that has started to make a clan for themselves: ZERO. Not much is known about them. From what has been managed out, their main goal is to take control of every Hidden Village and create a vast empire around the world.
Each village has its own share of problems on top of everything else as well. Some are losing power, others are under attack, and some are led by unqualified leaders. Which story you choose to follow, however, is up to you.
