You're Now Awake

----------The universe never ceases to have its strange phenomena, mysteries that make us turn our heads, lay awake at night, and ask more questions than we can possibly have answers for. As always, theories and answers come into wake, bringing calm to the storm and once again, the presence of greater force is challenged by logic and reason. But how can anyone explain that silence that day? How can anyone explain how in a normal day, for one instance, everything stopped and every single flesh being became absorbed in his or her conscious where a black cloud of knowing lowered, forever changing the courses of lives? In this moment, even the deaf knew they were in a silence even greater than what they were familiar with.

----------A vision within the black of the mind six silhouettes, backed by light, god-like and only comparable by the organic radiance of the sun, and impossible to distinguish, adorned and seated in gold cast their gaze on you. Towering above, looking down at spectators, one more silhouette sits on a throne. This one is crowned, power obvious in even the finger tips and even more threatening in presence that its six counterparts; a monarch amongst its court.

----------Once in your hands, the crown is your power of projection, the tool to recreate and gift the world with your vision. Underneath the crown is the six single individuals that can ever challenge the crown, but are also solely the crown's most trusted weapons. This power is in west, past the cliffs of known ground.

----------Once this vision was over, neighbors turned to look at each other, learning that the unexplainable paradox of a vision was not unique nor set in stone. Although the image of the throne was forever embedded, lives did carry on as many saw the vision as just simply not the destiny for them. But for some, amongst the seven silhouettes, they had seen themselves somewhere in the court and the vision lived on in their dreams every single night, the immaculate image acting as the jewel of their subconscious. However, the greatest change was that every being was now more aware of each other, prompting tension with the other five factions. No faction could allow the imbalance of another faction dominating the court and the crown.

----------The world became more aggressive, a land of competition grounds as factions put together their best and anonymous groups developed on their own. Leaders were recognized. West is where they went, ready to fight for the crown.

Civilians of Aes are known to sport Victorian fashions. Although similar with Novum Fulgar with high technological advancements being their strength, Aes differs with more open land and spread out towns and therefore has become more residential.

-------Five times it would happen that I would be apart and then not in Caelum. Once, there I was, systematic to dream and therefore dream more and buried I was in thoughts for the throne. Second, I would be led to believe there was paradise and far it was from any escape to I could muster. It was not long I would call myself unique from who were still dreamers. Here I was and all that was. Thirdly, I called on Caelum when I found myself desperate. There were times I felt out of synch, incapable of a balance, but never was there a moment like this. Fourth, I would had all the thanks in the world. I had it all and finally with all this time I would come to know it. And then, finally, I was very much a part of Caelum and ready I was to fall deep and forever into it. And then I woke up to dream all over again.

-------Six factions, they were lands with enough between them to say there was coexisting that marked the setting. However, it was with one moment that loyalty between the realms were tested.

-------It had begun in an instant, the world of six factions had stopped even its greatest routines for a moment, in which brought onto all with a conscience was a mass vision soon to be called "the silence." It was not to be taken lightly when all eyes had seven silhouettes embellished in light marking a throne, and then highest and most centered, a figure wearing a crown. To be a part of the throne meant to be a god, and amongst six of them, was an obvious leader. Each being had seen his, herself, or itself somewhere in the royal court whether it was on the throne or in the lower six placements. This was an event only possibly explained by the gods who were willing now to see the kind of acts the land of factions could and would do with the greatest of all incentives provided. Knowing was bestowed onto the people, and it was understood that it was west, into and past the unknown lands of monster terrain if one could reach sovereign.

-------The vision would did not die to be forgotten then. Rather, it would be the only content of the people's dreams each and every night, teasing at the place that held the inner most thoughts. It was only those who had declared their lives truly alleviated from desire of pursuing a place in the throne that the dream would slip into distant memory and rare was the occasion. For others, who well off knew that to quest for Sovereign is to make a changed person, pursuing a place in the throne had become all as it was their very intent to be more than what they were. Alliances were made with a mind to consume the whole throne. Faction became weary of other faction and war was erupted. If the west would not cut short even the greatest warrior's chances, tension within and between the factions could.

-------Journeying west meant strain to the mind as much as the body. At first there were the beasts and even greater fiends would come to be met as travelers and even military moved further and further away from the Armatan border. Many had forgotten it was not just the people who had seen the vision. Armies were cracked and easily, bodies had become much that was distinguishing of the terrain. And then there was the dimensional shift marking the closing gap between the western land and the gate to Caelum. There was de ja vu, instances from Caelum as present as they were back in the land of factions. Replicated structures reminded people of home. Few wondered if they had circled all the way back and were in fact close to a familiar bed. Creatures spoke. Floors wavered to gentle footstep. Raindrops stilled. The paradoxes became stranger, even frightening and were warning of the worse to come.

-------Those who were most mighty enough to find themselves standing in front of that grand gate of Caelum and proceeded through might have thought they were winners amongst men. They would stand corrected as after passing through the gate, they would discover they were not alone.

-------Civilized enough even from their journey through the monster lands, the people formed a neutral zone. It was an attempt to live with even their competition and whilst in it, organize planned battles. In ways, this was an act of procrastination and too many had become comfortable in Caelum. For others and especially faction armies, it was impossible to commit to the idea of sharing space with those who would eventually have to be cut down and just as many people, if not more than those in the neutral zone made camp elsewhere.

-------Real change would come three years after the vision, when Caelum's gates had sealed from the outside. No one could enter and those who left would have to come to terms with losing their chance at the throne forever. From then on, Caelum was an arena and in that arena, the throne would only be unlocked when the last seven out of the now known number of inhabitants was dead or never to lay a footstep in Caelum again.

-------In the meanwhile, the gods were proud.

Welcome to Caelum.
