Welcome to Linton. As the capital of one of the worlds most powerful and advanced countries, Linton is a city steeped in centuries of history, and rich culture. It's a city of scientific enlightenment, and commerce. Where politicians from around the world meet to discuss their problems and make peace. Where rich nobles are known for their elaborate shows of wealth.
But beneath the shiny, clockwork veneer is a layer of soot and grime that reaches from the crime ridden slums and airship docks, all the way to Parliament itself. Despite its outward appearance, the city is anything but a peaceful haven. Out on the streets, a small minority made of people born without the strange powers and abilities considered normal for most Humans, struggles for equality. And in the government, different factions argue about how to solve these pressing social problems. Behind it all, the Athenaeum, a powerful organization supported by the monarchy and determined to do whatever is necessary to satisfy its own ends.
As the Athenaeum rushes to discover the cause of certain people mysteriously losing their powers, the growing tensions in the city could cripple the nation if not brought under control soon.
