The world as we knew it is all but lost. The cities and lifestyles we once knew and loved are now buried underneath the earth. The colossal monuments which stood as a testament to man's achievements, gone. And even the continents themselves which dressed mother Gaia have been torn to shreds, all thanks to mankind itself. With their lust for power, control and wealth, humanity held its last global conflict but it wasn't fought by the brave men and women of their respected countries, but rather chemical warfare and nukes. Earth was now nothing but a hallow husk of its past and lush beauty; leaving it a ugly ball of dirt with nasty pools of water dotting the lonely sphere.
Centuries have passed since thous dark times spoken in the new history books, ones which have no recollection of what we considered history in our time, and now the world seams to have reached stability once more. Man has risen from the ashes and have all combined into one collection of people to create its own country. Thanks to the current monarch, King Argonath, and his noble subjects the land of man has been prosperous in the fourth era. The royal family which has been around since the first era has sat upon the throne since then, chosen to govern the kingdom of man and reclaim what was lost to them. But this world is now host to two other being who also seek to claim it as their own. There are the Faunus, people who seem to have qualities of animals of the old world meshed with human, and the Grimm, terrifying monsters evolved from the animals of old which terrorize everyone the world over.
The kingdom of man, know as The Kingdom of Helios, had gain much during the first era but also loss in its time on this new earth. They claimed as much as they could have from the beginning but they were initially hunted down by the Grimm and forced to retract its territories. And to make things worse, the natives to this new world, the humans who had been left out from the underground bunkers during the "last war", the Faunus, also pushed the humans back. The Faunus felt that since Mankind had abandoned the surface, and them, that they didn't deserve to live with them on this new Earth. They fought ferociously with one another during the first era but the threat of the Grimm proved too be to much for both parties to ignore. Putting their differences aside for survival, Human & Faunus came together to wage an all out war with the Grimm and seceded in slaying the head of Grimm, and were able to loosen the world from the Grimm's death grip; leaving the cleansed lands up for grabs.
Now, in the forth era, after many other conflicts and hardships The Kingdom of Helios shines brilliantly as its borders encompass much of the world and keeps it's people safe while they grow in peace. But with things going so well, a strange feeling befalls the land as winds of change begin to blow to the kingdom; and the scent of blood and rage fallowing swiftly behind. This is the beginning of a worldly change. The beginning of a new bread of heroes and the beginning of your new adventure.
