Pandaryl is a medieval fantasy world where you can be whoever you want to be and live however you want to live! Pandaryl is a large continental nation in which many different types of people live together. Races both native to the area and from the neighboring nations all live here. It is a vast nation, with numerous landscapes ranging from the Varaha Mountain Ranges to the Sarakata Desert (currently working on a map)

RULES (subject to change, there will be more)
1: Swearing isn't a big deal with me, so long as it's not ridiculously excessive, however, be aware that Gaia itself has rules as well that MUST be abided by, so keep it under general control, use *'s or something if it gets too crazy.
2: Play nice kiddies. Don't be giving each other crap! I don't care if you're characters have an issue with each other, but don't get personal kay? I will be on top of that.
3: I don't care if you have 1, 2 or 20 characters, but BE SURE that you can handle them and MAKE SURE they are well put together and NOT ridiculous characters.
4: Keep thing literate, I don't want to have to wonder what the heck you're trying to say when reading posts. ALSO, grammar, punctuation, things like these are all really nice in posts, so make em pretty people.
5: Activeness. If you're gonna be gone for a long period of time, it'd be nice if you let me or one of my VC's know, that way we don't assume you've just left and remove you.

Races in Pandaryl
o Humans
Doesn't really require much in the way of physical descriptions (I hope). Humans, along with Elvahn, Miramin and Dwarves, are the native inhabitants on the Nation of Pandaryl. They are very wide spread in their abilities and talents, working in almost every profession you can think of. They also vary in their skills at combat. Each person is quite different, some being skilled with a blade, others with bows, short blades and some talented in Magikal arts. They can do whatever they really put their mind to. Not being as big or magikally attune as some races, they sometimes have to overcome some difficulties, but the stubbornness and strong will of the humans allows many to do this and to excel in what they put their mind too.

o Elves
~Elf (Elvahn)
The second of the four natives of Pandaryl, Elvahn can be found everywhere. They are skilled in Ancient Magiks, as well as healing and alchemy, and are nothing to sneeze at when wielding a good blade either. They get along pretty well with all other races, but have problems with Orcs, Duramas and Dwarves. They are always starting random competitions and challenges, trying to compete for the title of better race. Drinking games, agility tests, and inn brawls usually ensue when these are made. Elves are naturally tall folk, Averaging 6'9", Elvahn are much taller than the normal human, and are easily spotted. They have almost perfect facial features (unless scared from battle, and even then they are quite the handsome species). They live for long periods of time, but not forever. The lifespan of the Elvahn is usually around 200 to 300 years, if they haven’t already died a premature death. Although not as bright and beautiful as the Miramin, they are handsome in appearance, and have a lighter aura than most beings. Children with darkish hair are kept on watch at all times, as the Durama's try to capture the dark haired Elvahn to raise as their own. Being a little judgmental though, Elvahn are taught in the ways of benevolence in order to give them a hopeful future.

~Wood Elf (Miramin)
The third Native Pandarin race, Miramin are the keepers of the forest, warriors that protect and preserve their woodland home, based in the Kirkhi' Therata Forest. Not much for hefting large metal weapons, they are quite keen with smaller blades and archery. Miramin are not as talented in Magik as the other elven races, but they do know ancient nature magik. Their outfits contain mostly fabrics that are rare and extravagant, and their aura is very light, unless threatened. They live in the highest trees and are at constant feud with the orcs and dwarves that come in and chop down their trees for firewood. Only the dead trees would be used for fire in the Miramin communities, and only after many apologies to their gods for having done so. The orcs just come in and destroy living, sacred trees, and therefore are not welcome amongst elven companies. These Elves are shorter than the other two races of elves, along with a natural lifespan of over 1000 years if they aren't killed, and having very light complexions along with elegant looking feet and hands. Their hair is usually a light blonde, or a very light hue of brown.

~Dark Elf (Durama)
Hailing from the Eastern Nation of Nirathana, Durama's have a balanced ability in swordplay, destructive magik and some archery, though not as talented with a bow as their cousins, the Elvahn and Miaramin. They prefer to live in the darker parts of the woods, like swamps and caves, and tend to wear dark, extravagant clothes. They tend to get along with Orcs more than others do. Racially, the Durama are not a discriminatory people, waging feuds against only those who wrong them, thought they do tend to think that the other elven races are soft and weak. Their facial features are more narrow and pointed, and their skin is usually a dark bluish black, giving them an evil look to begin with. There is nothing specifically evil about Durama, many being fairly kind and reasonable everyday folk. However, they are known to tend towards evil arts and demonic rituals than most others, but again, that’s not ALL of them. This distinction, however, does tend to cause most to be weary of these folk.

o Dwarves
Dwarves are a stout, heavy built people, and the third native race to Pandaryl. Their manners are usually quite appalling, as they love to drink until they pass out. They love eating and when they get into fights, their choice of words tends to lean on the nasty side. The men usually have long braided beards, and women have long braided hair. Beard or a head full of hair, the hue is usually brown to dark brown. Dwarves usually live in caves along the sides of mountains, or close to where human villages are. Dwarves are usually master smiths, creating anything from intricate rings small enough to fit an elf’s finger, or a hammer that is so mighty, that even the strongest of men may not even be able to wield such a magnificent thing. Going hand in hand with their smithing expertise is a strong Merchant lifestyle for many. Complex politics rule in the dwarven homelands, and many leave to get away from the largely indecisive Council. Dwarves are very talented warriors, able to heft weapons and armor around like nobodies business, thought due to their size can have some fallings out in that department. Those who chose to take advantage of their size train in more roguish tactics. Almost all Dwarves are highly, but not completely, resistant to Magikal forces, and their stubbornness makes metal trickery difficult to perform on them.

o Orcs
Orcs are a green skinned people from the Southern Region of Sangarad. Aside from their skin, the biggest give away of an Orc are their large under bite, fangs protruding from said under bite and their large size. They average about the height of the Elvahn, sometimes slightly taller, but are built like tanks. Obviously specializing in Melee combat, they use crude but highly effective weapons, favoring 2 handed weapons like mauls, battle-axes and 2 handed swords, but also are very effective with a sword, hammer mace or axe and shield combination. Powerful and usually a crude race themselves, Orcs aren't the most highly regarded race around, but they, too, are not evil in nature. Like Dwarves, they are powerful warriors and skilled smiths, however their weaponry and armor isn't usually as "pretty" as some higher Dwarven smithing, but if you're looking for something with an intimidation factor, and Orc made blade will do you perfectly.

o Vampires
Vampires are dark, tall, and slender compared to humans, and have to feed on blood to survive. The truth is, they are able to eat regular food, but blood is much tastier to them. They live wherever there is a steady supply of blood, and some actually have farms on which they keep animals to drink from so as to not kill so many others. They are sly and tend to stay hidden during the day, coming out at night to prowl around for blood. Pureblood vampires usually have dark hair and bright eyes. Vampire’s eyes glow, and can be seen from a distance in the dark, giving them a frightening appearance, though, if you get close to them, they can give an alluring aura to lure people, however strong willed people can shrug this off.

o Yaraman (Nordic-like humans)
Yaras are a tall race, very similar to Nordic Barbarians and Vikings in both culture and appearance, favoring chainmail and fur as armor and wooden shields, one handed and 2 handed weapons, similar to the Orcs. The two races, Orc and Yaraman, actually get along quite well, though as barbaric as they are many argue the Yaras are a slightly more civilized people. They hail from the cold Northern region of Corrabaar, a large island nation known for nearly 7 months of snow per year. These living conditions have made the Yaras quite hardened climate conditions, building a general resistance to the elements. A Yaraman can hold his own in a drinking contest with even a Dwarf, but tend to be funny happy drunks rather than angry like the Dwarves tend to get.

o Vyrdan (winged humanoids)
The "Angel and Demon" race from Corrabaar, these winged humanoids are the second people to migrated from their cold, northern homeland to the central region of Pandaryl.
~Light Vyrds (Liravans)
The "Angel race", Liravans are considered benevolent creatures, skilled in Healing and Alteration magik. Alteration Magik allows them to change the physical world around them with light, magikal flashes that emit from their bodies when using their abilities. They at first glance appear to have no wings, but as is the ability of a Vyrdan, can manifest said wings from their backs, coming out as wings of light and ending as a traditional angels wings would be depicted.
~Dark Vyrds (Diavans)
The "Demon Race", Diavans are polar opposites of their light cousins, with wings black as night. They favor Illusion magik, enjoying getting into the minds of their opponents as well as warping the areas around them with dark magik. They also tend to wield blunt weapons such as maces, and the occasional one-handed axe. Just like the Liravan, they appear with no visible wings, looking just like a darker human, until they manually manifest them from their backs.

o Kaszor
A feline like humanoid, the Kaszor hail from the South Eastern Island region of Kirakara. Not to be mistaken as a nice kitty, these people are closer to the predatory prowess of a Cougar, Leopard or even a Lion. Able to kill you with claws and teeth as well as with any blade, they can be quite fierce if confronted. They have amazing eye sight, including being able to see almost perfectly in the dark, and they are highly proficient with their hands, able to pink locks and pockets easily. Favoring a roguish approach, they prefer small blades and bows, being able to pick their targets from a distance due to their amazing eyes. Quite, agile and deadly, just like a predatory cat should be.

o Ghadari
These large humanoids hail from the Western Nation of Quinarika, and are quite an intimidating sight to many. They are a huge race, averaging 7'5" and are probably the most muscular built race in Pandaryl. They favor melee methods, able to use any weapon handed to them with deadly force. To deal with range, some train with throwing axes and spears, all of their weapons being brutally and efficiently designed. Many prefer not to wear much armor, even though armor is not a problem fatigue wise for them, because they show their strength by NOT covering themselves with metal, using their own tough skin and showing off their chest almost like a trophy, saying "come get it if you can." Unlike most big brute races, the Ghadari are actually very intelligent. They are very set in their beliefs from their homeland, and some even resort to violence towards people of different lifestyles who won't be like them. Again, not an evil race, just a very odd one in the eyes of others, though others are very odd to the Ghadari, which makes sense.

o Erzian
The Erzians are an amphibious race from the Swampy regions of Quinarika, quite dexterous and good with their hands as well. Over generations living in their swampy homeland, these people have developed gills as well as their lungs, allowing them to breath both in and out of water. Obviously proficient swimmers, a fit Erzian can reach speeds of 45 km/h in the water. Their skin is slightly scaly and usually colored hues of blues, greens and reds, with occasional other shades showing slightly in some spots.

Factions

Dracomalum Army
Origionally just a band of muderers and thieves, The Dracomalums have quickly grown into a devistating force for evil and destruction. Claiming to be lead by a fearsome dragon, they intend to strike fear into the hearts of the people of Pandaryl. No one knows if their claim is true, many think its nothing but a fear campaign, but their quick rise in power does elude most explination.
