Lubchenko Academy is one of many prestigious schools for gifted humans and mythological creatures. People with a very unique set of skills are discovered across the globe, and contacted through the same otherworldly forces that hide the academy from the mortal world.
Students and staff receive their invitations through various magical means. They are sent to those who need to be at Lubchenko, exactly when they need to be there, and not a moment before. Delivery depends upon what it is that would persuade the individual to attend.
What sets Lubchenko apart from other supernatural institutions is that it has magic at its core. Students are sorted into grades based upon how well they have mastered their abilities, their knowledge of the magical world, and how well they can adapt to human society. Staff members are hired for their experience and what it is they can offer to the students.
