ORIGINS
Shinigami, Hollow and Quincy; the three major races from the beginning of time, a constant battle wages between them even to this day. Shinigami hunt hollows to protect souls from falling to corruption, and they have slain countless Quincy to maintain the balance between the souls that are meant for salvation and those meant for hell. Quincy, Spiritually aware humans who use Reishi as means to combat Hollow and Shinigami alike. Hollow, entities who view all things with spiritual pressure as food. Over the next several millennium, their conflict would give rise to other races; Bounts and Fullbringers on humanity, Combat Mod Souls created by the shinigami, and Arrancar born from hollows who've evolved from the removal of their masks.

Yet one particular race of being has remained in the shadows, not by choice, but by the bonds of fate that their choices had led to. Hell; a place that has only ever been imagined by those who have never set foot there. It's existence has been confirmed by the shinigami who have witnessed dead or dying hollows be dragged through its gates. No being who has ever been there has found a way to escape. Within the pits of hell, unimaginable horror and torture awaited its denizen, for it was their eternal price to pay for their sins in life. from those dark crevices, a new breed of evil war born. The Infernii were the most hardy of the damned, those that would not bend and break the torture of hell, and instead sought to escape. in the year 2003 One of them succeeded. This soul had no idea what his name once was, only that he was the first of the damned, the one with a deep manifestation of all the worst of humanity. Pride, Envy, Lust, Wrath, Greed, Gluttony and Sloth. It seemed only fitting that he donned himself a name to display his power over others, Abbadon.
It caught all by surprise, the gate he opened unleashed the hellish air and other Infernii unto the deserts North of Chad in Africa, bringing immediate corruption and death to Chad and its neighboring countries. Shinigami were the first on the scene and combated the Infernii, followed by the hollow who were attracted by the souls and Quincy tribes of southern Europe. Nearly all those first on the scene fell over the next several days to the swelling overpowing numbers and unknown abilities of the Infernii that escaped. Shinigami Captains, Quincy Warlords and Arrancar then arrived in a desperate attempt to halt the spreading evil. The Soul King high atop the skies of Sereitei was watching, feeling the balance of the world shift and he knew that the Captains would not be able to ---
