"Arc One Scene One | Deception"

________________Deep in the shadows brews deceit and evil has once again made itself known. Lately, after a brief time of promising prosperity, strange events have occurred inside Seireitei walls. Just two week prior to the date, a large section of forest in Rukongai was set aflame spontaneously. It's aftermath, from an aerial view, was a large set of letters '復讐' ( "revenge" ). Next, just a week later, another anomaly; an entire Rukongai District fell victim to a mass suicide. Upon further investigation, no traces of outside activity were apparent.
________________Recently, Central 46 and Squadron Three (the judicial and supreme law of Seireitei) have issued a quarantine of the "Suicide City" and the forest where the mysterious flames occurred.They've also requested it be "swept under the rug" to not panic the citizens of the Districts nor the Shinigami inside Seireitei. Various members of the board of Central 46 have recently pointed fingers at the members of the Advent Gotei 13 accusing various members of trying to bring tyranny into their walls and take power from their organization. The clash between Central 46 and the 13 have resulted in an uneasiness inside of Seireitei.The final happening occurred directly inside of Seireitei. Seven men, all Shinigami, we found strewn about the Squadron One's ground before the Commander's office where the Captains assemble
________________Just a few days ago, the Divine King has announced that he will be adding another branch to the Advent Gotei, coining it the 'Fourteenth Squadron'. The newly promoted Captain is rumored to be a lawless criminal pulled from the King's Royal Prison; this adds more uneasiness to the boiling pot of Seireitei. With this new branch's arrival, the King announces that, in celebration of the final completion of the Advent Fourteen, he will throw a Soul Society-wide festival in their honor. Inside of the Advent Fourteen, the Captains are uneasy with their newly promoted comrade and their battalion of lawless ex-cons pulled from the Divine Prison.
________________The final happening occurred directly inside of Seireitei. Seven men, all Shinigami, we found strewn about the Squadron One's ground before the Commander's office where the Captains assemble. Strangely, each corpse was absent of their hearts and eyeballs with their own blades stabbed into their guts. Upon the Commander's door was the message "Death shall come. Crimson shall rain. The dark will arise once more." The drastic event quickly spread about Seireitei the next morning and the Commander declared Seireitei be placed under an immediate lockdown. The mysterious Fourteenth Squadron soon were being blamed for the gruesome events and again, Seireitei boils with distrust and allegations of tyranny. Despite this all, the Divine King declares that the festival will commence in hopes of easing the waters in Soul Society.
________________The day has come for the festival. As Seireitei prepares to open its doors to the souls of Rukongai, security has been put on high alert for any strange happenings that may pose a threat against the "mending of waters".
