Welcome to the World of Sarvaria.

For centuries, this world has been split between two Kingdoms vying for supreme rule. Both with similar ideals, but very different round abouts to obtain such a status. The first Kingdom; The Crimson Empire, believes the land MUST be ruled by delegates. A parliament, made up of chosen leaders of multiple clans. In terms, every man should have a voice in making the decisions that effect their lives. Upon encountering true prophecy, the crimson empire declares its practice as a perversion of free will, as it conflicts with mans right to choose his own destiny. "The Prophecy must culminate." The other being The Nekoran Lichdom where power is Absolute. Rule is Absolute. What the Lord Archon says is Absolute. Period. Power makes the ruler. One may question the Lord Archon, however, his answer is final. To further question the authority of the Lord Archon is a death sentence. To overturn the Lord Archon's final word, one must challenge the Lord Archon for his rank. The Lord Archon rules with an iron fist. Currently The Crimson Empire overlooks more land, however the Nekoran Lichdom commands an organized military with a much higher readiness rate and has sound defenses due to treacherous terrain and ancient constructed magics. The Lord Protector protects the Prophet's form and resting place. The Shadowalker name has been the ONLY Lord Archon for as long as memory serves. Fact is the Shadowalker Clan had founded the Nekoran Lichdom and so it was believed that only Shadowalkers could rule the Lichdom.

Sarvaria thus far:

The present conflict pulls our attention to the city of Kilead, this large population center, so far, has been an independent city state. Located at a river delta, the silt carried down stream makes the soil here very fertile and boasts some of the most productive farms and livestock ranches. As an added bonus every spring, the mountain streams expand into larger rivers and carry large amounts of gold and other minerals downstream which are collected by the city's locals and used to trade with peoples from far and wide. The abundance of gold in the region and its easy availability make this the largest trading hub in Savaria, For all these reasons both the Nekoran Lichdom and The Crimson Empire pursue the subjugation of this rich region for themselves.
