...I realize there's still alot of planning but can someone tell me if this si gonna be one of those games where you enter a "room" and all you can hear is the various over lapped noises of moving monsters?

A great example would be with the Beta of Ragnarok Online, you'd leave town, the music would change and as soon as the monster loaded all you could hear is the bouncing or porings, the buzzing of ChonChons and the chirps of those damned pickys.

I'm not opposed to the animation sounds it just that the example brought back alot of bad memories.
