Are there any more specifics to attacking bloodbats during Bloodlust? I seem to have the most trouble during the waves sweatdrop

Not much to it. I usually ask everyone to attack as much as possible and using rage for r4 slash since bats do not regenerate health and r4 slash will hit just about all of them.

So as soon as we see it, we should stop attacking Kam and begin to attack the bloodbats?(derp question sweatdrop )

Yes. You want to kill bats as quickly as you can.

That would be...erm...the logical decision xD Thanks =w=

Keep in mind that no matter how good a tank is the crew determines how successful a run will be.[/quote]

A new question occurred to me today. Well, a couple of questions really.

1) How would you handle a GR with 5-6 swarms of Blood Bats plus a NF? (Yes, I've seen such a room!)
2) Worst case scenario, the crew wipes out. How do you approach a room now that the enemies no longer give you the initial grace period on entry?

Edit
3) How about Mimics? Once in a while they show up in the same room as BDs or NFs, so where are they in the attack order?

Lots of kiting and quicksand. NF will likely go after backup healer so they need to kite too. It's probably best for the tank not to stop moving much at all with so many bats alive initially.

Same as usual but the coordination needs to be tight. Tank goes in quicksanding with a slash then kiting with everyone entering room right after the tank does. As long as the tank gets initial aggro they should be ok. If someone steals tank can heal with diagnose after kiting near the group.

As for mimics? I dunno. After wolves for sure. They're not really a big problem.

I'm just quoting Omnileach to get his opinion, but my question is open to all to answer:

No matter what role I am playing, Aggro or Attacker, when ever I get a NF it stays calm for the most part, however when it reached like 1,000 HP, it goes berserk. When I am Aggro, how do I keep him calm, and when I am Attacker, how do I not make it go crazy? cat_sweatdrop

If you want to avoid the night fright aggroing on someone completely when you tank then you should swap rings for a bit longer before you attack.

If you want to avoid aggro stealing while attacking then slow down your rate of attack and don't rage attacks.

Today we beat Bloodlust in 22 minutes flat.
A little over 2 minutes building aggro and the rest of the crew beat her before their amp fell off. That's a record for sure.

Omni, this guide is absolutely amazing. I feel kinda honored to be acknowledged as well in the Credits, but all the same, you're a kick-a** player. I know nobody else in this forum that plays harder then you do.

Keep on rocking.

What CL level should the kiter be, and what if you don't have integ? Would fitness be a good substitute?

i agree on all answers given so far, just throwing in that if you have some experience as healtank already you can very well tank yellow rooms as a cl 10 even, just make sure you use a ghi amp, and only you, not the rest of the crew :3 at least that worked just fine for me

You did an amazing job on the guide Omni, and I am very surprised to see my name up there.

I am glad I was able to help you in some way (even though I have no clue how I did.)

Thank you very much! I should add that to my list of rules for when I aggro! xD

I also just want to say thank you for your guide! You and Zzli have improved my aggro skills considerably cat_4laugh
