Dur - fitness, fortune's favour, healing halo, knife sharpen // adrenalin, keen aye, my density, turtle.

THIS SET IS GOOD! ~Thumbs up~

Captain! The sarcasm barriers, they can't hold up ta this kind of stress!

Seriously though - there really isn't a "best" set. Use what you like. Remember to avoid SAD and SADD sets, and you should be okay.
My preferred set is (left) slash, hack, mantis, guns, and (right) meat, turtle, defib, and fitness. This set is for solo mainly, but specializes in close range. For event battles, it is very dependent on teammates as you cannot heal yourself. This set is fairly powerful because the fitness ring increases the weapon usage meter faster and you have three attacking weapons. The guns ring is for luring far away enemies into range if the swords. The meat gives you enough hp to charge into battle and the turtle ring is used for short periods of invulnerability during a battle. And, of course, everyone should carry a defib ring.

Is this serious?

If so, some improvements that you might find very useful.

- Defib is not something everyone should carry. Usually, it's of little use (since it only benefits dazed people, and there are more people who are not dazed than dazed at most times). It's very useful for when people are dazed, but - within reason - it's usually best to have people focus on rings which keep people from dazing in the first place.
- If you just use Fitness to increase stamina, switch it out for Divinity. Divinity is a very useful ring (almost to the point of being generally necessary) which increases stamina regen much more than Fitness does, especially at full rage. It also grants a luck boost at full rage.
- Turtle's cooldown time makes it pretty useless, even with its shortened cooldown time after the last update. Bandage would probably be a better addition here (giving you the ability to heal yourself, but it can be used practically whenever, rather than every 3 minutes, for only 15 or so seconds at the max), or Rock Armor (1/3 the protection, but 60 times the duration, and 1/8th or so the cooldown time - also, in crews, it protects everyone).
- You might also find it useful to drop Mantis in favor of another buff. 4 attack rings is the high end of fine, but Mantis is sort of redundant in that set (Hack provides the powerful 1 vs. 1 attack, Slash is a very powerful ring you can spam a lot), and more buffs are always good.

Ah, whatever. I'm just a casual player, not serious.

i have a lot of cool ring
and my favourite is
1. SLASH!!
2. FIRE RAIN!
3. HACK!!!
4. DIVINITY!!

Bashful Sex Symbol

My default set is GGG, Mantis, Fire Rain, Bandage, Improb Sphere, Coyote, Meat, and Divinity, although I'll switch my buffs out when working with a crew, and I'll trade my attack rings around to adapt to fighting certain Animated. But I always carry Bandage and Meat; having 1400 HP is useful in the Saw Mill, as is being able to spot heal to keep my crew members from dying because they wandered too far to be reached by a Diagnose.
It all depends on what you like to do and what you are comfortable with, take into consideration what others say but you have to make your own choice. I always tell people who ask this type of question to try them out and see what works best for you.

My rings are mostly random since I've had no time to farm or just get decent ones. I used guns guns guns, Hack, Mantis, Defib, Meat, Diagnose, Fitness, and Improb sphere. c:
