zOMG has a long tradition of hosting meet-ups, parties, weddings, you name it! As well as crewing for bosses and farming for gold, the casual aspect of the game, when combined with Gaia's highly versatile avatar feature, allows for a wide range of other activities that users can get involved in. The most notorious and fun of these are themed "raids" - where a group of people dress their avatar to fit a certain theme and go running around the maps of ZOMG!

We believe that these sorts of parties demonstrate the heart of what makes zOMG so dear to its users - community spirit, spontinaity, creativity, and making lots of friends!
Anyone can join in, as a raid party always welcomes newcomers! The more the merrier!
And remember: If you're not having fun, you're doing it wrong! emotion_awesome

We will endevour to host some raids on a somewhat regular basis with a few days notice. However, due to the sometimes spontanious nature of raids, there may be one going on at any time with no warning! When this happens, we will update the thread as soon as possible with the details and a big "RAID ON NOW!" note either in the thread title or the thread posts themselves (if I am offline and cannot edit the title). Please keep an eye out for these!
