Q: When is the Battle System going to be release?

A: No one knows... but Qixter said they hope to have it out before Halloween of 2008

Q: Does it cost to play the Battle System?

A: No, you will not have to pay to play..

A: No you won't. It will open in a flash window same as the other games..

A: Not when it is first released but it will be added in the future..

Q: Will we be using our weapons in the Battle System?

A: No you will be using rings instead of weapons/armor so if you have a sword/armor it's just for show..

Q: What happens when you die?

A: When the health meter goes to zero, you are Dazed. When you are Dazed, you can’t use any ring skills, but you can move around (slowly). You only stay Dazed for a finite number of seconds, but long enough that it’s a real inconvenience, especially if you’re standing there watching your friends get destroyed while you are Dazed. Of course, there are rings that can Awaken you from a Dazed state..

Q: How do we move around in GBS (Gaia Battle System)

A: You can use WASD, Arrows, or mouse..

Q: Will there be a leveling system?

A: Your character will not level up but your rings will.. They will level up (L1-L4) until they are "Total Charge."

Q: How many rings can we own?

A: As many as you want.. They will be stored in you inventory but you can only use 8 at a time.. (Gaians have 4 fingers on each hand)

Q: Where can we go to change out our rings?

A: You will have to go to a Shard Field..

Q: How can I get more rings?

A: You can get rings from killing monsters which is very rare,Killing bosses, Completing Quests, Trading with other Gaians, and buying in market..

Q: Will we be able to earn gold in the Battle System?

A: Yes, Monsters will drop gold...

Q: Will there be Events in the MMO?

A: Yes, Qixter wants to release the battle system out before Halloween because they had a great idea for an event.

Craft Items:

As you journey through the world, dispatching monsters and resolving quests, you’ll pick up various strange items in your inventory. These items can be exchanged into other (more useful) clothing or house items…as long as you have the necessary recipe. Where do you get recipes? You can buy them from other players, or find them as quest/monster rewards.

Name: ninja-to (straight sword), and ninja-yoroi top and bottom

Name: Otami armor

Rings:

When you defeat opponents, they will drop treasure items (“loot”) that usually do NOT contain Battle Rings, but sometimes you’ll get lucky.

When you fight against powerful opponents (“Bosses”) as well as completing major quests, you may also be rewarded with new Battle Rings.

Players can trade rings to each other, and the Marketplace is always an option, but the in-game stores (like “Barton’s Boutique”) will not buy or sell Battle Rings.

Healing Ring: Heals select player or group of players.

Speed Ring: Makes player faster

Invisibility Ring: Turns player invisible.

Scardey Cat Ring: ???

Mantis Ring: Project a light sword to swifly cleave through the air at your target. Click To See Video

Bump Ring: Bounce your target back on its keester with a big powerful bump of the hip.

Improbability Sphere Ring: A personal force field that can deflect attacks away, or even reflect it back on its attacker.

Defibrillate Ring: A way to Awaken a Dazed ally. With a big, powerful K-zAP!
