That system looks fairly probably, especially the summoning of defence and offence attacks. I can imagine the icons popping up like emoticons do in Towns to represent the attacks being made against mobs.
3nodding It may be a bit laggy due thanks to some users being clickers (i.e. those that click insanely as their skills cool down).
Still, it's a very interesting thought.

So I take it we're going to only have "magical" powers? No attacking using our own force?
well, the animation could show a mace smashing your oppenent, but there is no swinging of your avatar arms, so get it like it's a AirGear (a manga) attack, you have big visuals around you but don't really do anything xD

Pretty slick there, chief. Perfect example of a Defensive, Status, and Melee ring in one go.
Granted, a good part of the Battle System isn't about rings, but your own stats. Got any on that?
I would love to give an explanation of Status Effects, but I have no art skill.
For what I got your stats are based on the rings too, but we know so little about that, I will try but maybe I could make a mistake, lemme think about it, nice suggestion

This is hypothetical look at the basic idea. I am fairly sure there will be rings that will let you use your "own" power to attack.
The Shield could passive or active.
The Kat power up is active
The Blood Katana is active
Now imagine a ring called Pound. It is a passive ring that gives you "click to attack" ability that lets you pound those Clouds. Instead of summoning a mallet it's "you" waling up to the creature and "pounding" away. Get it?
Oh yes, the part about active or passive skills could be used for the next one!
