So figured it out and still can't get to actual place. I am here with a few people who waited then logged off because they had no way of getting to the place either.

I blew off a perfectly good friday just so I could catch up with my fav dev Mav. I think the way this is organized is sad. Some people don't have a lot of people on their lists because they choose not to. That doesn't mean that they should be penalized and can't join in the fun. Anyways, I hope all went well, but until a better way comes along to reach the spot you wish to be at, I will just take a back seat and watch everyone else enjoy themselves. Anyway, if you aren't sure of the exact start time for your time zone, we have the "Time Until The Next zOMG! Dev Meat" link that will be updated the day of the Meat and calculate how many hours away it is for where you live! biggrin

Now that's we're friended, you'll be able to see my dot on the zOMG! map and transport directly to where I am by clicking on it. emotion_yatta Just note that I usually get to the Meat right when it starts, so my dot won't be available if you arrive early. sweatdrop

Given the way zOMG! works with servers and layers, these are the best solutions we've come up with to deal with it all and find each other. It should be much easier for you in the future I think now. mrgreen

You are absolutely as awesome as I knew you would be. I thank you so much for coming back for me. YAYAYAYAY MAVDOC!!!! I know you would hardly believe that I am a grown adult but I am. I'm sure you don't remember, but I went this crazy before you left Gaia at the last meet up! rofl 4laugh rofl I will go head and aim for the next meet up. Thanks Kaiser! 3nodding Pirate themes are pretty popular, so we usually do one around once a year. Just recently in May though, we had used this same theme. xp

So I'll hold onto your idea until the next talk like a pirate day, or if the demand and situation arises where it would work earlier. biggrin
