If I'm not mistaken, the orb spill happens after the current mini event is beaten in the time given. The remaining time left is when you can gather orbs. I could be wrong but that's what I noticed

I'm pretty sure that's not how it works....

That theory wouldn't be able to explain the Fly By event in Zen (since there's no strict time limit to defeat x amount of Clutches in, but rather you have x minutes to kill as many Clutches as possible) or the Grucken event in Bill's Ranch. Also, I've rarely seen orb spills happen within minutes of events in the same area.

maybe you misunderstood what i meant. let me simplify. there's a mini-event going on with X minutes to beat. the mini-event is beaten within the time but lets say there is still 10 minutes left. since the event itself is beaten, then the orb spill comes out for the remaining time. ive been there before when this has happened but its been a while since ive gotten to play so i dont know if it still does that. im sure there is a separate orb spill itself as well.
