This contest runs all year, with substantial prizes and prompts that will push you hard.

logistics

The main seasonal contests will be judged by me and my judges:

Luis
Penden
Kiria
Mahayr

The entries will be judged on a points system with a total of 15 points available. Points will be awarded based on creativity, entertainment, and originality. Bonus points will be offered if you "wow" us.

Should a minimum of two-three persons enter, then the prize money will be combined and be distributed to one sole winner on a lump sum, so long as we have two-three competitors.

However, if we have at least 4+ people enter, then there will be a 1st, and 2nd place to be had.

Should 1 or no persons enter the seasonal contests, there will be no winner.

This time around, there will only be two winners. This time around, you must score at least an 11 or better on your entry in order to qualify for one of the prizes to be had.

Should no contestant meet the requirements, then no prizes will be given.

Written critique will be given upon request for contestants of the main Retrogradatio Cruciata contests. Otherwise, a podcast recording will be available to listen here.

In the event that two poems are neck and neck for 1st prize, a sudden death round will be initiated, where both contestants must duel using the sestina, and adhering to a contest prompt.

Critiques will be given out for each piece submitted and posted in a podcast.

When I say it must involve said style, then of course the only context available would be to use that style. You cannot just involve it, and expect to earn points for inconsistencies.
