Yeah, she just has to find the right man. But the rape will affect EVERYTHING else in her life for as long as she lives. Because it's totally impossible to recover and move on from a rape. IT IS ALWAYS BETTER TO DIE THAN TO BE RAPED AND EVERYONE FEELS THIS WAY!!!!!111!!!!!

Yeah, she just has to find the right man.

Because lesbians aren't raped.

Also, when it comes to gender roles, stance, way of talking, expression, and problem solving strategies are irrelevant.

Was there an explosion in your story? If not, why not?

And this can never be an accident, or if it was, it's only made to look like one, but was actually part of a grand conspiracy.

And all explosions must occur in slow-motion, with your protagonists running to escape the blast.

They are never hit by shrapnel. Also, they never suffer from broken bones due to the shock of the explosions and the impact with the ground or burn damage. This is all just to look super kewl, so why should they suffer realistic consequences?

You just said the word 'realistic'. You are hereby banned from the thread. Go, and hang your head in shame! Realism has no place in fiction of any kind! Didn't you know that?

(Kidding about the ban, since I'm no mod, but I'm making sure you get my joking tone instead of getting offended.)

Men aren't ever raped either.

The people who do rape them are men, can be drunk, or they're big, burly, they use ropes, and they hold you down in a dark alley somewhere before running away scared because they know you'll figure out who they are.

AND YOU WILL END THEIR LIFE WITH YOUR UBER-AWESOME POWERS OF ASSKICKERY.

If this in an action movie, the victim must always end their rapist's life in the most sexualized, sexy way ever... I mean, that won't be triggering at all.

Because there's nothing more fulfilling in life than killing losers who shouldn't be worth your time.
Laziness will always win. Especially if you're a writer or superhero.

@Anna: It will involve lots of black leather, volumized, sexy hair, and dramatic wind blowing as they strike a final pose, aim the gun one last time, and say that kickass onliner.

@Darkness: Or gaining newfound superpowers to extract your revenge on them after being hit by a radioactive acorn.

If there are groups of people in your book, and there is a betrayal in the group, the angriest one - the one that opposes all of the good ideas - is always the first culprit. Always.

Books contain messages. It's a criminal offence not to have a moral of the story--it's even worse to have a message that is obscure or unclear. To make sure your point gets across (those readers, they're dam stupid, you know) you must be utterly anvilicious. Repeat your point several times, make the heroes all believe in your moral, and those who don't are dispicably evil!

Ambiguity is for losers!

And the more blatantly culturally biased your moral is, the better!

Because culturally-biased, wildly inaccurate 'morals' aren't immoral by their nature at all. xd
Also, double standards are so named because they're twice as true!

The only way to achieve anything is through physical force, never social manipulation.
