No matter how evil your bad guy is, once he has kidnapped the Love Interest female, he is always a perfect gentleman. He never rapes her.
Although he does seem to give her rather revealing dresses to wear.

Of course, your female character must have a new-age, feminisitc attitude and is able to kick-a** better than any man. She just doesn't show it for some reason.
Oh, and her evil uncle makes her wear dresses! gonk THE HORROR.
If course, it's always good to have that kind of attitude in your doubtlessly medieval fantasy.

Of course, and all she ever gets as a reprecussion is "How Unladylike!"

And the dresses! DRESSES! No girl likes to wear dresses.

((Am I the only female who wears skirts?))

No girl likes dresses. No real girls like jewelry, either, and the only reason they wear their mother's locket is because of sentimental value, not because it looks good on them.
Gosh.

Any woman who's in the slight bit feminine is a conformist!

But of course.
Girls don't wanna look pretty. They wanna be rough and tumble like the guys! ((I would actually prefer embroidery to swordplay.))

((Hey, I wear skirts too!)) And any girl who actually likes the abovementioned things has to be an obedient little milksop and is therefore hated by the wildwoman wonderfully strong leading lady.
...who is a stong leading lady up untill the very moment she meets Hero Protagonist.

Of course, before that happens, she has to start every day by saying how useless men are and how women don't need men, and she demostrates this independence by constantly talking about men and how useless they are.
But he's so damn sexy, that she instantly forgets all of her feministic ideals.
And no one even thinks of calling her a hypocrite.

((Xiraes, would you please stop shouting all the time?))

Even though said feministic ideals were "we must make the sexes equal, therefor we must hate men to do it".

The hero in this case is ruggedly handsome and named Richard Rahl.

The MC is never a womanizer. He is OMGbeautiful, but still a virgin.

Questionable Genius

When your MC or love intrest turns evil because of the OMGPOWERSOFDoOoOoOM!!! of the Evil Villain, all you need to turn him back is a kiss from his OMGTRUELOVE!! to get him back to his kickass, normal, and good side.

And even though the villain is RIGHT THERE, he still stares and wonders how "That wretched girl" broke through his spell to bring the hero back, while the hero and "The damsel in distress" share a few romantic words and hug and things like that.

Hey, ALL evil villains wait for the love scene to be over BEFORE attacking, can't ruin that good old "*sigh* So cute!" moments, can we?

Of course not, that would be ungentlemenly. All male villains like to pretend they're perfect gentlemen (thus the reluctance to molest the main female character besides mocking her and her friends' useless attempts to defeat him). It's a sign of his evil, how he always pretends to be civil. He never actually means it, and he never thinks it's time to give it a rest already, except maybe when he realizes that his evil scheme has come crashing down around his ears.

Alternatively, if your main villain is a female, she will stay her hand just so she can clap her hands together and give a sarcastic speech about how it's all "so charming. True love reunited, happiness at last. But you realize, of course, that you are doomed! Mwua-hah-hah!" Female villains always like to mock and gloat like that.

And if the villain's neither male nor female, then it's obviously alien and its motives can be chocked up to some quirk or other. (Of the villain, not the non-plot.)
