I'm not spamming the writing arena, I'm just using the writing arena as an easy on-site place for storing my writing? This thread is intended for discussion of my works... is it still the wrong forum?

Yes, the writing arena forum is for the discussion of pieces in the writing arena.
So what you're telling me is if I change the link location, discussion of my work here would be okay...? Isn't that kind of a gray area? Two forums for writing discussion with the only difference being site location? Isn't the important part of these forums the interaction and sharing of ideas, not where the links take you? Oh well. I'm not going to argue it just to have some pissy moderator eventually step in. I'll just go through the tedious process of copying all the works into my journal and changing the links, that way people still don't have to go off-site. That was the only reason I utilized the arena links anyway.

It's that they are linked to the writing arena, you are showing works that are in the writing arena. Therefore one would assume that the thread belongs in the writing arena discussion forum.
Don't speak to me as if I'm a child, I understand the reasons for the different forums. I was merely pointing out someone using their time and energy to, instead of discussing the written works involved, whine about what forum it should be in is ridiculous. If I was blatantly spamming my work for votes that would be an understandable use of your time, but going out of your way to tell a writer in the writer's forum that his discussion thread doesn't belong there because of where his links take you just seems tedious and petty.
Anyways now it's a moot point because I fixed all the links.
