Dragain's House

The house was passed down from one generation to the next. Dragain's step-mother gave this house to Dragain before her death. At that time, it was an old-fashioned Japanese house, and it still is. However, Dragain had made some changes to that house to make it look mordern. Also, despite how it looked like from the outside, there are double floors in two out of the three houses.

A bird's eye view of the house:

Mihoshiko lives in the pond outside most of the time. If it's raining, or too warm, she gets brought into the house.

First encounter prompt

A wagon/caravan with no horses in front of it is parked somewhere away from the more crowded center of the marketplace. A girl with a headscarf and long greyish blue hair tied up in a ponytail sits in the front. She is staring into a basin of water in her lap, engrossed with its contents. 5 coloured spheres hover in the air next to her, a "For Sale" sign floating above them. As this caravan/wagon is located in the "pets" section of the marketplace, this arouses your curiousity; the round objects look more like art pieces or house ornaments than what you'd usually consider a pet. What are these, pet rocks? And what makes them stay in the air? On top of that, what's so interesting about a basin full of water?

Since it's likely that the girl is the one holding the answer to all your questions, you decide to approach.

Dragain stared at the floating objects, and found them quite interesting, therefore appoached the one who was selling all these objects. Dragain cleared her thoat and asked politely, 'Excuse me, what are these floating objects?"

It was a moment before the woman looked up from the basin of water. She smiled mysteriously and answered, "These are not just any objects, but eggs. Eggs that will hatch into loveable pets for you..." Then, she reached forward and took a dark blue coloured egg from the ones on display. She smiled at Dragain and handed the egg over.

"That colour suits you," The woman said, nodding her head. "so, do you want it?" Dragain thought for a moment before smiling, "Yep! I'll take it! What's the price?" The woman thought for a second and replied, "2000 gold then. It's okay right?"

Dragain nodded happily and paid the gold needed before returning home with her new egg. Although the woman told her that as an egg, its gender is unknown, Dragain hope for it to be a girl.
