How can I adopt a magical child?
You can adopt one through one of our auctions or flatsales! :3
How can I 'buy'a teacher?
Teachers will be available but will be auction only. Teachers will not have stages, as they are already adults. They'll be responsible of the roleplaying of the class of their profession.
Can I name my child? Their likes, dislikes, talents, etc?
You can name your child if they haven't been named yet. In some cases, they will be, and you can't change that. As for teachers they'll always have at least their surname given - the first name might be up to you though. You cannot chose your child's likes and dislikes. That is to say, at least two likes and dislikes will be given when you adopt your child - after that more likes and dislikes might be given by you, but those four can't be undone. You cannot -
can.not. - give your children any special talents. 'Special talents' include parseltongue, animagus, etc. Being good at a class though, it's mostly up to how much you appeal to the teacher. While most of these 'special talents' will be given by birth (on special auctions), talents like being an animagus will be gifted to the child in the following years, depending on their grades.
Can I change how my child looks?
You may add accessories, make them grow their hair long, give them piercings (only 15+) and so on, but you can't change much else - you can't go 'oh my puberty hit draw her with huge tits next time please' - they grow however they will! ;3
What year are we in? Has Harry Potter happened, or...?
We're pre-Harry Potter, but not too much - that means the 'first war against Voldemort' is still going on, and Harry Potter hasn't been born yet.
Will we get the statistics of what magic our child is best at? (EX: Transfiguration: 40%, Charms: 90 %, etc)
You'll get a report card! :3 It'll have marks like the OWLs and NEWTs do...
Will they get a wand when they're ready to go to school?
Oh yes; every child gets a wand once they get their Hogwarts letter!
Will there be a mini-shop with items for the children? (Ie: Wands, cauldrons, familiars, books, trinkets, whatever their little hearts desire. XD)
Yup, there will be! ;3 Coming soon to a post near you! I'm pondering whether to order some or draw them myself - surely they'll be up before the first children get a chance to grow!
Do the 'parents/guardians' have to be magical/squibs?
No they don't. As it is wartime, a lot of magical orphans will appear and the magical community isn't a crowded one - the adopting parents won't be aware, but the wizards at the orphandage will make sure they're open minded! :3
Are the teachers the same?
The main ones are - the teachers we know a lot about. Others will be different so we can play around with them and make nice, interesting characters!
What do you do with textbooks and such? (They'll need some material if they're to be RPing in classes.)
Well I won't type up books naturally but at least for the main lessons there'll be a lesson program: Like, 'first year charms: leviate, obliviate, blahblah' and 'first year transfiguration: needles into matchboxes, rats into pigeons, blahblah into blahblah' etc etc...
Special abilities will be very rare, right? (Please!) (Ie: Light forms of wandless magic, whatever it is Tonks is. XD )
As said in question three, yes they will be rare, and available only through auction.
