Hello! I welcome you to the land of the spookies. There is a story behind them all which is in the main thread. Main thread

We welcome you to the land of Gaia. You can roleplay many things, adventures, interaction with your Spooky and meeting other owners. However if you don't have a spooky or can't afford one you can roleplay here all the same. Don't forget there will be other people here and you'll start off in one area, preferrably the kind of terrain where your spooky likes and travel the world around you.

Find out what your Spooky's powers are. Make their personality develop.

Places to rp

1. User Image

The forest is a lovely place to be at any time. However there are dangers in the dark corners and cubby holes of trees and a few caves here and there. This is where the knowledable and forest liking creatures love to be. Come here at any time and just have fun.

2. User Image

The mountains are the coldest climate on Gaia, always snowy those that love the cold are at home here. Some of those isolated few reside here not wanting to let those who can just go wherever have an easier time of finding them.

3. User Image

The meadow. This is a lovely little place that allows small groups thrive. They become reliant on each other in the open area and love to be around others. Happy and bright this place is always a spring-type place and has flowers sprouting from everywhere at any given time.

4. User Image

The ocean and tropics are where those who love the water and it's cooling, tranquil scene are. It calms almost everyone and allows people to get along. Spookies with a knowledge of helping others usually come here to quell the storms. They can be passionate at times, such as the ocean when it rages.

5. User Image

The desert is a dry and water deprived place. Those that wish to see how long they can bear up under extreme conditions can cross this terrain.

6. User Image

The Volcanoes are were those with firey tempers, passionate feelings, and those that can change their mind love to be. Their element is the fire, the magma of their feelings.

Jazz sat at the edge of the beach the water lapping over her feet in light gentle waves. Her hair fluttered in the light breeze that flowed over the water in it's simple but caressing way. Reaching out she put her right hand in the sand and picked the wet stuff and rolled it through her fingers lightly. Smiling she nodded, it was nice to have the feeling of sand as it fell out in small clumps to the ground returning to it's homeland grains.

Looking up she smiled her blue eyes reflecting the oceans exactly, gently and nearly perfectly. The light smile that crossed her face was one of gentle peace and tanquility. In her lap a small egg that was oddly colored sat. Blue and red it sat rather comfortable and warm. Jazz's other hand gently stroked it from time to time as she waited for it to hatch into the creature she knew it would.

Wishing for a calm and loving pet and friend she watched at the waves crashed upon the rocks in a rythymic pattern. Crash, spray, recede. Crash, spray, recede. They were lovely, the sprays magnificent, glorious was the sea. Snapping out of her reverie Jazz stood holding the egg in her hands and smiled down at it.

"We'll see what you shall become now won't we?" she asked it as she decided to take a walk the sand being imprinted by her feet.

A slender figured girl stood in almost supernatural poise on the tip of a jagged rock high above the crashing waves of the ocean. Her shining deep brown hair flowed in the breeze behind her. The wind caressing her face like tiny fingers that cooled her sharp features as she closed her eyes.

A large striped egg was clutched tight against her chest to prevent it from slipping into the dark teal waves smashing against the rocks below. The girl peered inqisitively at the egg in her arms and wondered if there were any others like her, gifted with an egg which they must protect and care for.

Gracefully she lept from the peak and landed soundlessly on the shifting sand of the beach. As she raised her head she spoted a dark shadow standing on the beach in the distance. Slowly she walked toward the mysterious figure, cluching the egg tightly.

Pausing in her stride she stood to look at the ocean again the calming waves helping her relax. One of the few places she could relax was here, admist the ocean sprays that seemed so loving and tender. Holding the egg she sighed to herself.

"Such a little one aren't you?" she asked the little egg with a small light-hearted laugh. "You are quite the sweetie I bet." Somewhere in the back of her mind she hoped that the young creature that would come out would be as loving and as tender as she hoped.

Turning she looked around her eyes not even catching the figure walking towards her until a short while later her eyes widened. Not knowing who they were she gently put the egg out of sight under both hands cupping them together.

Seeing that she had been spotted, The girl clutched her egg tighter out of partial fear and wonder as she had been raised in solitude up high in the mountains and had only seen humans scurry about in their little lives near the rocky foot hills at the base of the mountain. She had once encountered a human many years ago when she was first given the egg, he had taught her to speak in the human tongue but had scarcely had the chance to use it.

Jazz gave the girl a light smile not wanting her to be scared of her. The egg had hatched while she stood, so anxious about meeting someone like herself that she nearly dropped the egg. However it would not have mattered for a rather bright and happy kitten spooky looked up at her.

Her attention caught she looked back up at the other figure waving her over in a friendly manner hoping she would come and join her by the beach.
