In the meantime, she learned to live with the noises of day, run around and be graceful and meaningful, shining ilke the sunshine itself, while her elder brother sat and watched protectivly in the shadows. One day, a horrible accident claimed her parents' lives, and she watched as her brother grew insane, then left with him, searching for answers to the departure of her parents and all the while searching for the mythological 'Valkyrie'. Brief Bio: Cresnoble's past remains a mystery to all but him. Nobody knew anything about him until the day the assassin showed up in Prontera and took a mercenary job to help storm a castle. After it was completed, part of his payment included a coveted shard of emperium, which he tucked away for safe-keeping.

The next day, he took a soujourn into the Payon caves that would forever alter his destiny. He had earned something of a reputation as being a killer of sohees, for he almost always sought to end their lives of pain and free them with death. However, as he rested in the center of the old samurai village on the third sublevel of the cave, he heard a sohee come under attack by two soldier skeletons.

Against his usual actions, he quickly stepped into the fracas, eliminating the two soldiers and a nearby archer that was beginning to enter the fight. Afterwards, the sohee, whose name was Michiko, asked if she would be allowed to accompany him, regardless of knowing that he was a sohee-killer. Once more against his usual conduct, he allowed her to join him, and the two have been traveling partners ever since.

Shortly after that day, Cresnoble took the emperium shard he had been given and formed a mercenary guild, the Shadow Wolves.

Brief Bio: Her past is a total mystery, even to herself. She has no memory whatsoever of what her life was like, or even what her name had been. She's only aware of her existence in the caves.

Then, one day, fate intervened. Her life was saved from skeletons by the mysterious assassin Cresnoble, whom she had previously known to be nothing more than a killer of sohees. Despite this, she felt compelled to request to join him.

Since that time, she has stayed with him, learning what she could of what he was willing to teach her, and still questioning why she feels so close to the assassin.

Brief Bio: Vaughn was born into one of the richest families residing in Prontera; the Duramis. His parents died when he was a mere Alchemist at age 18, and he inherited their wealth of several billion zeny. That money quickly went down the drain as he bought expensive equipment and some very expensive cards to go with them. By the time he was done, he was down to about eight hundred million zeny; enough to maintain the family mansion and garden as long as he lived.

When he was 23, he arose to the rank of Creator in the Alchemist guild for his excellent work and well-known experiments, not to mention creating and raising one of the finest Homunculuses the Guild's head has seen in his leadership over the guild.

Brief Bio: A woman who's past remains very questionable, the first recollection anyone has of Ele'sear is the day she arrived at the Izlude docks, upon a sinking ship. Ele'sear is a private person, who tends to keep her history to herself, usually haulting questions to her with a simple 'none of your business, savvy?'.

Ele'sear keeps to herself when not traveling, and for whatever reason, seems to always pop up wherever Cresnoble and Michiko reside. "Kadaj san c'mon!!" the girl flailed, hopping up and down, then running ahed of him, her skirt flying up.

The man walked up behind her, and held her skirt down, putting his arm around her neck to stop her. "Don't run so fast. Guys can see you Yazu."

She pouted. "So??"

"You're too protective big brother! I'm 15! I'm fine!"

"Yeah but your 'big brother' doesn't relaly want you getting eyed now, does he?" He scowled, then smirked, noogeying her head. She flailed, protesting, but he let her go. "Heh. get outta here," he said, shoving her lightly, and watching her run off. He sighed, closing his eyes, andglancing to Xeno. "....."

She suddenly ran back to him. "Kadaj lookit! C'mon look!" She yelled, dragging him towards a merchants stand. He blinked, finding himself dragged.

The two siblings seemed to bicker, then finally, he gave in, buying her what she asked, then huffing and turning away. "I hate you sometimes." he scowled, and she pouted, stomping off.
