As you walk inside the white-washed building that displays the name "MTI Kennels", the first thing you notice is the faintest hint of vanilla in the air, and that the building is cool; most likely the result of an air conditioning vent over a sloppily organized front desk. There are several plush cerulean chairs along the far wall, and pleasant shades of greenery, provided by several potted plants dotting the floorspace of the front office. On the north wall, there are 2 closed, unmarked doors, and above the row of chairs in what looks like a 'waiting area', there is a locked glass case with notices posted inside. You lean closer to read them...

The first one reads:

May 22, 2007- Tenative Re-opening. Kimineko kittens available!
My customer files are still intact! If any former owners need new codes send me a PM including your username at the time, and the pet name, if you can remember it.

May 20th, 2007- Not quite open again, but more rebuilding RP in progress. I also re-vamped the Kennel info, so you may wanna re-read the first page for fun. ^.^

May 15, 2007- As you could probably tell from the little story, I'm back on Gaia and getting ready to re-open the kennels! Stay tuned for more details! ^_^

These are here to keep MTI Kennels a pleasant place to be. Please follow them. If you blatantly disregard the rules, you can and will be blacklisted.

1.) No flaming and no bumping unless we're is on the 2nd page or farther down
2.) No spam! [Well, maybe a little...]
3.) No Stealing images! [That's a big "Duh!" ^_-] If you do, you'll be promptly reported.
4.) To place an order, post the order in this thread, then start a trade for the whole amount.
5.) Prices are non-negotiable; Items are accepted as payment on a case-by-case basis.
6.) No page stretching. That can get you Blacklisted! gonk
7.) No chat speak, or leet. [I can and will kill you. stare ]
8.) Just use common sense, be reasonable and polite
9.) Stop by and RP/visit every so often. Some evolving pets won't evolve past certain stages unless you visit!

~*~Adoption Rules~*~

These are in place to protect the pets and Yanagi-San from theft! Please read and adhere to them!

For Pets
------------

All pets will have your username on it. Once you choose your pet, place your order in this thread and start a trade marked: "Payment for MTI kennel order". I will PM you with the pickup link. I host all merchandise on Imageshack, a very reliable image hosting service. You MUST host your image on your own server!
NOTE: Remember, money talks! If something is up for flatsale, and you don't start the trade asap, I will give it to the first person who offers up a valid trade in addition to posting first in the thread. So if you want it bad, start that trade right away! ^_^ [Don't worry, I won't confirm it until I send your pet. wink ]

Re-Adoption
---------------

If you cannot possibly give a pet from MTI Kennels a home any longer, then you can re-adopt them out to a member of the thread. To do this, place a classified notice in this thread. Once someone offers to adopt your pet(s), contact Yanagi-San by PM, and she will arrange the transfer. At this time, the owner can pick a new name if they so choose, but not a new gender. If you cannot find someone, Yanagi-San will relist the pet under the available pet listings for someone to adopt normally. If you choose to put a previously owned pet up for re-adoption, then you will not be refunded the purchase price from MTI Kennels!

Kiminekos are a special breed of medium-haired housecat that have been bred to be hypo-allergenic, individual, loving, and to come in a variety of different colors. Some Kiminekos can talk if their owner takes enough time to teach them. Kiminekos are very intelligent, and loyal to their owners. These non-evolving creatures get along well with other animals and should become fast friends with your existing pets.They are the size of small dogs and all have emerald eyes.

These are a light-medium RP pet.

NOTE! Kiminekos are now Limited! This means that Kiminekos will only be sold if a litter is born.

Evolving Pets

"A small companion that develops a very personal link with you, being able to sense your whims and needs..."

Perioxes are creatures that appear to be a hybrid of a fox-type and a ferret-type animal. Yanagi discovered them one day after a friend gave her a box of oval rocks she had found in an archaeological dig. Yanagi-San, enjoying pretty rocks, took the strange stones, intending to use them to display her jewelery. Once she set them up on her dresser and put her baubles on them, she forgot about them. A few weeks later, she awoke to a strange noise, and found a mewing baby animal crawling along her dresser! The stone upon which she had placed her silver bracelet was shattered, and appeared to be an egg of some sort. Upon taking it to her bio-lab and examining them all, she discovered all the stones were strange eggs that hatched when exposed to Silver. These gorgeous creatures go through several stages of life, from their egg state [Ovlisk] to a infant stage [mewling] to a 'teen' stage [adolescent], to a mature stage [adult]. Perioxes are lithe creatures with large p***k ears and a long bushy tail. They have unique markings, specific to each breed of creature. These markings seem to be perpetuated on the Ovlisks as well, giving a hint as to their adult appearance. The Mewlings are born with little to no markings, but develop them slowly on their way to adulthood. Upon paying an adoption fee, you will be handed an adoption certificate, and a Periox Ovlisk with a decorated silver band around it. In a little while, your Ovlisk will hatch into a Mewling. At this point, you should bring your Periox infant in for a medical exam and routine vaccinations. Perioxes are empathic creatures, and can send what they are feeling and thinking to one another and their owners. They may even be telepaths, and documentation of this trait is currently under observation. Periox are the size of raccoons when fully grown.

These are a medium-heavy RP pet.

Perioxes are 6000g and are offered by flatsale. There are 4 standard breeds- Terra, Air, Flame, and Aqua.

Tealings start at 3000g and are offered by auction only. There are 4 types- a Dragon-Type, a Rodent-Type, a Feline-Type, and a Canine-Type. You cannot choose what type you get- it is random depending on what options you pick!

Tealings are a unique creature that are hatched by 'steeping' their protein crystals [called 'Tea Gems'] in a cup of tea. Their species, personality and gender will be affected by the flavor of tea they are steeped in, and it's maintained temprature. [But not determined by it]

Once your Tea Gem has steeped long enough, a tiny squishy Tealing will emerge from it! It's important that you leave it in it's cup and saucer hachery, as it will eat the remains of it's capsule and drink the tea it was hatched in. This will sustain it into adulthood.

At the adult stage, Tealings are roughly the size of a tennis ball.
