Star Heights - About the Machingal

Little is known about why the machingal reside here in gaia, only that they remain the silent guardians of the star heights, seeking out human guardians every so often. Though they appear bulky & grow to the size of a fully grown shire horse, their seemingly fragile wings can arry them aloft with ease given that they are in fact as light as air.
The machingal grow through four life stages, their appearance varying as they go through life, capable of speach from their child stage upwards.

Foal: At this time the machingal is very frail & has no wings of its own. It will rely on its human bond to carry it during this fragile time of their lives. They are no bigger than a small dog as a foal, but beware, dont expect them to be like this forever!


Child: Your Machingal is now a bouncy & boisterous youngster! They will be naturally inquisitive & curious about everything you say & do. The child may even try to mimic your actions, so be careful how you act around them. They will need to be undfer constant watch to make sure that they do not decide to do anything silly or anything that could potentially harm them. They are now as big as a small pony...so no snuggling them in your bed. Give them their own room. Thier wings have emeerged, but they are yet flightless. They will also have gained a magical ability & should be taught how to use it wisely.


Teen: Your Machingal is blossoming into an intelligent & bright eyed teenager, a little more worldly wise & perfectly able to take care of themselves, to a point of course. Your Machingal may even start to fall in love with others! Their wings are growing fast, but its still not time for them to fly just yet. They will be moody at times & not totally in grip of their emotions, so try to be an understanding owner. Because of this emotional storm, they should be advised NOT to use their magical abilities...lest something go wrong.


Adult: Your machingal is at the peak of its growth & has become a fully fledged adult. They are now coherent in speach & are easily ridden by their carers being the size of a full grown shire. Their wings are capable of flight now that they are full grown, they are well in control of their magical abilities. If your Machingal wishes it, they can now breed!

Can I get one?
If there are none available in a flatsale & no custom slots open, then no.

What if I PM Kohenkyo & whine?
You get blacklisted.......

Are these RP required?
No, but RPers always get more perks than those who pick up their pet & leave.

When are Flatsales & Auctions?
When I can hold them. Bearing in mind that I do have a life outside of gaia, I will TRY to hold one at least once a month if all my growings are done.

How long do they take to grow?
From foal to child takes a month, from child to teen takes half a month & from teen to adult takes half a month. If you RP they grow faster ^^

Do you need any help with coloring?
If I need help I'll ask for it. Don't ask or PM about it otherwise.
