Why do I want the Angelic Sash? Because, for one, it's a puuurdy bunch of pixels. But then again, so are the butterfly wings, and so is the angelic staff. So then why am I going after something that's so crazily expensive?
Ever heard of the reason people climb mountains?
No, that's not really my reason-if that were it, I'd just go after the halo. But not only would that quest take forever, chances are I'd never make it. I don't want to be unrealistic in my goals. So I'm going after the sash, because I think it's pretty, and I think I really can reach it.
If you really want to see my old thread-so you don't think I'm lying-it's right here. I finally stopped using it after being unable to edit the first few posts for a few months, and getting fed up with not being able to keep track of how far along I was in my quest. I was also frusterated at only having a few posts to edit, and not being able to space everything like I plan on doing here.
That thread originally started out as my quest for a kimono, and then I decided to go after a few other items and kept the same thread. Then, March 15th in '04, I decided I wanted to go after the sash. Why do I have the exact date posted here? Cause if I ever wanna ask for a donation fron a Charity and they wanna know, I won't remember off the top of my head.

So, why do I have a section for dream avatars when I'm questing? Because, may as well have other goals. ^~
Actually, the only part of this avvie I don't have is the shirt...well, that and the sash.

3/17/05: This sash is on loan to me from Ayami Hanako, a friend of mine who's going on hiatus for a bit. It's not a gift, it's a loan, to clarify. So I'm still questing.

12/1/05: No, I haven't given up, I've just been very busy. College applications have been eating my time, as well as being field hockey captain and going to the National Festival and injuring my finger. I'm still actively questing for the sash, and I'll update my offer and costs within the week, as things in my life start to slow down.
8/4/05: So, it's been nearly a month since I updated? sweatdrop Hope no one noticed.
No REAL comments about the quest, it's been going as it normally goes, I'm about to update the progress cause it's been almost a month since I've done that. Anyhow, I should tell ya'll that next Monday I'll be leaving for another camp, and I'll be back sometime Thursday, so no fear. Now to update. mrgreen
7/9/05: Heading off to go white water rafting today, so I won't be back until late tomorrow night. I'll be packing for New Hampshire then, so I probably won't get online until I come back from there. *waves* Have fun without meeee!
7/1/05: If you don't notice a big difference, you're a bit slow. But that's okay, cause I'll still love you. I've always 'secretly' envied Lily's awesome page layouts, and she got the hint and made me one-a very nice one. I must admit, I love the placement of Alec. Right on the post I have to look at most often. mrgreen
6/23/05: So I can finally update my thread again. It's been forever, and I was starting to worry I'd need to get another new one. But no worries, it lives again. I've had quite a few donators-of course, all of them since it went down-so I'm going to try to get all of the amounts right and everything. Thank you SO much, everyone, and may the quest go on. biggrin
5/22/04: In response to all the PMs I've been receiving about my progress being not up to date:
I know it's not. It will be updated when I think the 'inflation' deal is over with, and that will be when enough people stop complaining about in. Thank you for your concern, though.
5/16/05: Hey, I'm starting to prettify it! Also finally changed this to my 'official' quest thread...looks like the old one dies at 832 pages. We-and by we I mean I-will miss thee, thread. RIP.
And, finally, I am done updating the first page. Not the most beautiful thread I've ever seen, but prettier than the last one I had. Maybe.
5/15/05: Yep, still haven't made it pretty. The rollback did cost me two sealed letters, though. neutral
5/9/05: Made thread! Huzzah! Updated all the basics, found out I lost about ten percent in progress.... gonk
