My notes on Alun so far. He can't really talk much, so most of this is just conjecture, mind you.
Name: Alun
Name Meaning: Harmony, stone, or noble. Also fair, handsome.
Species: Legend, if one were to speak in general terms. It's almost impossible to class Alun, since he resembles nothing on Earth - even fantasy creatures. Suffice it to say there's still much about Alun we do not know.
Stage: Kid
Discovered: March 18th, in one of Puchi's mutant testing rooms. Originally believed to be a horrible mutant, before Puchi realized he was humanoid. When discovered Alun was holding an egg with a peculiar crack running down the center. Previously, the egg showed no signs of life, or any possibility of hatching. However she did hatch, into a tiny purple bird named Ouisa. (Oo-iza). We call her "Isa" or "Izzy" for short.
Defining Physical Characteristics: White hair, eyes without pupils, planets spinning around his head (unknown whether they contain life or not.), multiple gold bangles, strange yellow skin that is completely translucent, markings located on his hand and over an eye.
Personality So Far: Curious, but seems to lack anything resembling strong, polarized emotion. While not physically - at least consciously - expressive, Alun has a penchant for showing emotion via his planets. Simply put, different emotions equal different positions. Very quiet. Friendly, but not warm. Very patient towards others. Shows signs of advanced intelligence every so often, but nothing consistent yet...
Despite having an ability to speak, (I've heard him say "pretty" once) Alun seems to outright refuse saying anything. Instead Ouisa speaks for him, though it my belief that she bastardizes most of what he says. I believe they communicate telepathically, though I have no means of confirming this. Alun seems highly intelligent and is surprisingly adept in communicating via gestures and nods, but I find it strange that he refuses to speak seeing how it'll only make his life less complex. Ouisa and him can be separated, but Isa typically follows him everywhere. It seems that she can't stand to be separated from him, though Alun appears rather ambivalent about her anxiety. He does, however, display sincere affection for Ouisa.
Interesting Notes: The planets that surround Alun's head serve multiple functions. They help to balance him - much like a human inner ear - and to help express emotion. Alun's skin seems virtually indesctructible, as you can literally poke him with a butter knife and it'll slide right through, but he won't show any discomfort. But for reasons not understood, whatever composes Alun's skin cannot tolerate water, and he literally dissolves after prolonged exposure to it. Alun's skin serves as a strange membrane, however; certain objects (IE: fingers) can pass through it, while other things, such as dirt particles, don't even seem to touch him. The skin is cool and moist to the touch and appears much like Jello. (In fact, its similarities to Jello are rather disconcerting.)
Powers: Some sort of telekinetic ability? More research required.
