I agree with calmer. It's a similar issue to the inclusion of multiple religious texts in public libraries- no value judgement is being made, simply an effort to present all options.
The removal of the 'cig', a longstanding item, on the other hand, would constitute a moral judgement by Gaia that smoking is wrong and should not be practiced.
And this is a judgement Gaia should not make; it functions as an effective 'state' and should thus not be responsible for legislating morality.
That kind of thing is a slippery slope.

I believe that it is up to the person if they want to purchase it or not. I am against smoking and refuse to let anyone use my lighter to light up a cigarette. But it is their choice. Calmer is right in that by denying it they are saying it is wrong. I wonder how many of the creaters smoke?

Aren't the whole "Pimpin'" sets a slightly larger problem than little cigarettes?

Possibly, though given the disassociation of the word "pimpin'" from the reality of pimps and whores, some people might find it less objectionable than cigarettes. One could argue that while cigarettes are likely to have health consequenses, dressing like a whore does not necessarily mean that one will act as a whore and contract veneral diseases.


(Alternately, "Remember kids; being a whore can give you venereal diseases!" should be added to the text of the Pimpin' set, because I'd love to see that.)

Yeah, I see your point. Still, they're freakin' avatars. They aren't going to get cancer anytime soon. And if you're going to choose between promoting cigarettes and promoting pimping, I'd be greatly worried by those who choose the latter.
