Why is he with Ian? What flavor of tuna does he prefer? Shouldn't Liam have, like, a dog or something?

Theories:
He likes tuna tuna
He's a former G corp experiment
He's the incarnate/avatar of Bast, who's female, by the way.
He's a cat n** smuggler. And a "n** head".
He is Ian's twin's (who his Liam whilst hiding from Ian...shhh) step sister who got a gender/species change (from G-Corp a'course), therefore being disowned by the twin, and letting Ian adopt him/her.
He's Jack in disguise. ninja

That kitty can talk. He's no normal kitty. He probably is an escaped G-corp experiment that Ian found, felt pity on and welcomed into his home. He perfers tuna made of tunafish. Liam doesn't have a dog becuase he's allergic to animals. That's why he build robots. :X

I think Ian TAUGHT Rufus how to speak and taught him all of the secrets he knows of ^__^

Or!

Rufus was really a human, but (ties into the G-Corp theory) meddled in at the wrong time and got turned into a cat. And since G-Corp thinks Ian doesn't know what's going on, they gave Rufus to him. ninja

Rufus being a scientist would explain the "E=MC2" and they just threw him out on the street but Ian being a nice guy brought him in. Now, Rufus knows all Ians secrets along with G-Corps. smile

And his evil rival is stone dog on the front page.
