It all began when I was exploring some caves outside of Barton Town. I was wandering in the dark when my light caught on something unusual. It looked like a large white stone. Being the curious creature I am, I picked it up to examine it further. And then I screamed. It was a skull. I threw it down, or tried to anyways. The moment my hand was out from under it two little black wings snapped out and kept it hovering. It was about then that I fainted.

When I awoke there was nothing but darkness and a masculine voice telling me not to be afraid. Well, it was dark and scary and I was afraid, but seeing as I could not find my light I decided to hear him out.
The voice, presumably belonging to the hovering skull, said he was Hades, god of the underworld. I was skeptical, but I let him continue.

He told me that long ago there was only the earth and the gods. They lived for time unknown until the humans showed up. The humans revered and worshipped the gods, building them temples and making offerings.

Some how the existence of the gods became entwined with the faith of humans.

Eventually the humans stopped believing in the gods that they so faithfully worshipped before. And when the humans stopped believing in the gods, the gods began to fade. It was soon clear the god's only choice was hibernation in a weakened form, or the cessation of existence.

Hades was sleeping in that cave until I found him. Apparently my shock was strong enough to stir his sleep. But he needed help to become strong again. In his current state his powers were minimal. It took a lot of energy just to continue existing. He needed me.

I couldn't just leave him in that cave to sleep through all time, so I agreed to be his guardian. The more we are together and the stronger our bond becomes the stronger he gets.

Now we wander together seeking other sleeping gods and finding guardians to care for them.


Dem discovered a cottage in the woods not long after discovering the second god, Hermes. It has become a sort of Home base for her and Hades and a bording House for gods and guardians.
Over time the cottage has been expanded on, thanks to Hephaestus and Gwydion, And has now become a warren of additions. There are several dormatory type rooms to house multiple occupants and a few single rooms, just big enough for a god and guardian. Dem and Hades have the biggest single room of course, they got first choice what with discovering the cottage and all.

Flatsale This is the usual way to obtain a god.
Just post in the thread that you want the god available and respond to the prompt.

Prompt : Tell me everything you know of the god, I want to know you have a good understanding of him or her. The more information included the better. Go into as much depth as possible. Others will.
And tell me why you think you are right right person to be it's guardian.

Anyone who copies information directly from a source will imediately be disqualified. I want to know what you know or what you have learned.

The person with the best responce to the prompt, in my opinion, will get the god.
I will give the god to the human I believe best suits them.
If you don't like that tough. I want to be sure my darlings go to the best people for them.
So be nice.

At flatsale gods generally go for 7k, unless otherwise stated.

Items may be accepted at lowest Market price... If i want them.

Auction I will occasionally hold auctions.
They will have a link in the first post leading to their own thread.
All bidding will occur in the auction thread, or be ignored.

Contests These too will happen.
In their own thread linked through the first page.

Customs There are only two things on Gaia that i really *really* want, a devils tail or an OMG hat. Offer me one of those and i will get you any known god you want, excluding those already reborn of course.

I take suggestions. And it is likely it could show up.
But i dont do customs... as of yet.
