Four fey have recently become available for ROLEPLAYERS (not Kithain) due to their Kithain's inactivity or departure. From February 25th, through March 11th, Gaians may post Roleplayer applications in the roleplay rights contest thread for one (or more) of the four available Fey (You may submit for more than one, but will only gain rights to one). You will not become the Kithain of the fey, but you will become their roleplayer. This means you will be responsible for RPing as the Fey. What does this entail? First, This may only be temporary. The Kithain of these fey have been warned for inactivity or have given notice of leaving Gaia. However, if they return within 1 month (March 25th), control of the fey will revert to them. If after this reversion they go awol for 2 months for any reason, or if they do not return to activity by March 25th, you will gain permanent control of the fey.

SPECIAL NOTICE: Pappila has a special circumstance! Eirnae, her Kithain, is without internet access which has caused her to miss her RP requirements. She has agreed to turn over control of Pappila to the contest winner for a period of 3 months, at which time she hopes to be able to return to activity. For PAPPILA ONLY, due to extenuating circumstances, the winner for her may only have control of her until June 25th, 2005, at which time she will revert to Eirnae's control unless she is still unable to return and fulfill her requirements.

Once you have the fey, what are you responsible for and what benefits do you have?

• You must meet the once per month journal/RP requirement of any normal fey.
  
• You will have a second cert for you, where Kithain is replaced with "Roleplayer".
  
• The Kithain of the fey will be able to rp with, but not AS the fey, and will remaing their Kithain. They will retain their Kithain version of the cert.
  
• A new journal will be made for you so that you may put in your own info.
  
• You do not have to pay anything for gaining the fey.
  
• You WILL have to pay later if you wish to go on an ascension quest (not yet available), gain a totem familiar (not yet available), buy a mount, or buy banners or any other future shop items.
  
• After March 25th, all decisions regarding the fey are at your discretion, not the Kithain's, although through RP the Kithain may influence these decisions.
  
• If the Fey is not yet an adult, they will resume growth after March 25th based on your activity level with them.
  

Entry Rules:

• Current Kithain to Silva Regia fey are not eligible.
  
• All applications must be posted in this thread. DO NOT PM them to the judges, shop dummy, or anyone else.
  
• You may only submit one application for each available fey, but you may apply once for as many of them as you wish. You will only ever gain RP rights to one, however.
  
• Please fill out the entire application. Applications which are not complete will be disregarded.
  
• Please choose ONE prompt from each of the THREE Prompt sections. You should have 3 responses total, one from Section A, one from Section B, and one from Section C.
  
• Please be honest about your ability to commit time to roleplaying your Silva Regia. Although 1 month is the longest you can get away with not posting, that level of inactivity on a constant basis really inhibits, hampers, or bogs down roleplaying for everyone. Each fey is an essential member of the story, and none of them were meant to be bit players or supporting actors, they're all leads.
  
• Please do your own writing and come up with your own ideas. Unless Jane Doe is going to be editing all your RP posts and journal entries before you post them, it is not fair to the rest of the contestants if they edit or help with your application in any way. And if they ARE going to be doing that, then they deserve the fey, not you. You need to win this on your own skills and merits. Spellcheckers and grammar checkers in software are fine and use of them is actually heavily encouraged. Bad spelling and grammar will hurt you.

1. Do I have to pay an entry fee? No. This is a free contest.
   
2. Can I apply for more than one Fey? Yes, but you may only win one.
   
3. Can I apply more than once for a single fey? No.
   
4. Can I edit my entry after I post it? No. Entries will be read and collected as they are posted. Any changes to the entry later will not be noticed.
   
5. If someone wins a Fey in the ad contest/auction and also RP rights in this contest, will they get to play both? Yes they will, provided they don't win both the Ad Contest AND the Auction, as the Ad Contest ends after this one and the auction is for a sleeper. However, if they gain one of these fey, their Ad Contest fey will HAVE to be Moon Court, as you can only have one from each court.
