Here is a slight glitch:
After you start a trade and it says that the trade has been sent, if you click the logout button (
) it will give you a 404 error:
It is becuase of the $ befoer php, and Ex after php.

It is becuase of the $ befoer php, and Ex after php.
I don't know if this was posted before (because I don't have the time to sift through and see) but this isn't actually caused by the $phpEx, it is caused by the page(s) not parsing php right.
phpbb (the forum software) is meant to run on many different servers, and as such there is the option to specify the php extension in a file. This was done because not all servers run php files as a .php extension. Some run it as .phtml, or .php3, etc. Heck, I had php running under my own custom extension on my sites biggrin
So the issue is getting the proper setup and such to sub in the variable.

all buttons under post are gone....somehow..... neutral Just be patient...
when your thread is [archived] click edit on the first post, change nothing, and click submit, that should solve it 3nodding
sometimes topic review appears to be broken, it shows you an picture of the "requested topic does not excist" message.
"the requested topic does not excist" is what you get a lot after posting/clicking, keep refreshing until it shows up 3nodding It is a case of lag, the message is not yet on gaia.
if you have a poll in your topic and you edit the first post, the poll disappears, if you remake it, the old one shows up as well, the delete button for the poll wont make much of a difference.
When you go to vote in a poll and the server dies, and when you change it to a different server, the first screen you go to is one to post a new topic in that forum.
Many of the characters that are unicode or ascii(means they generally do not appear on the normal A-Z, a-z, 0-9), these characters are not completely uniform or are not always available or working properly for every system. If some characters turn into gibberish, such
as æ#402;¢â⦣8218;¬žæ#8218;¦ or æ#402;¢æ#8249;⦣8364; æ#8230;¾ change your server to another server that will display it properly. This, unfortunately, seems to change every day.
in addition to above: if you search by memberlist with gaians with these characters in their names you might get a "user does not exist" message.
you cant edit an archived post, you get an error. This is because users cant change anything in the archives.
you cant quote an archived post, it says something vague about friendlists confused
some users cant see avatars at all, though they are using internet explorer and windows xp, Vaelen go the sollution:

It happens to be a memory problem with I.E. and the computer. You need to clear your cache and delete all temporary internet files on the system. Then do a hard restart where you leave the computer off for a a few mins before turning it on again. That is how it should solve it
if you click the quote button and then you paste some text the [.quote] or
if you vote in a poll you arent taken to the poll results (not always) sad some times you are taken to a replypage after voting in a poll, but if you want to submit something it says that there is no topic selected, your vote is counted by the way.
from time to time the font of the site turns into times new roman, just refresh the page and it will be gone (lil note from my self: its really almost nothing but we have a name to keep up high xp )
search by keyword is not working, Lanzer took it off ages ago for debugging, no clue what happened to it.
another old error: the view topic for replies function has been taken offline some time ago because the servers couldnt handle it properly, but the button is still on every topic.
and another old glitche: if you go to the last pages of a forum it does not show you any topics, because they are auto-deleted, but because it does not show any topics, there is a message that "there are no topics on this forum, hit create new topic to make one. " so thats kinda silly.

artarena approvals are not working, this is the least of gaias recent problems at the moment so they dont really know when they are going to fix it.

that is because of the $'s in the link, use the link in the upper left corner.

There are two Daisy's Breeze Dresses (girl item)for sale in Gambino Store, they both are identical in cost and looks.
the discription of the babyseals is quiet funny: BABY SEAL PLAYER (Like, yo bebeh seal, ya beauty is rare nowadayz, gurl)
A little typo in the Barton Store; The Brownie Basic Shirt and the Cool Basic Shirts' names are flip-flopped.
There are alot of glitches in the clothing preview, some time colours fade some time there is a green background. I have no idea how or if this will be solved. if you buy the clothes there is nothing wrong with it.
some times your avatar wears other clothes in the clothing preview than you are actually wearing at that moment, or even a different haircut. Just hit cancel and re-preview till it works
some times you lose gold when you go into a shop, but when you are out you have more money again. Its just 2 or 3 gold. So dont mention it. Also some one wrote that she loses gold on normal gaia pages, according to Ken this is a lil bug that comes up because the gold ammount updates every 5 seconds, no big deal.

to get your avatar back, go to profile change something on your avatar and then click save changes.
Some times you cant put on more than 1 item at a time in your profile. There is no real sollution, maybe clearing your cache or restarting your computer helps, but if I were you, I would just wait a little and try later.
If you have no clothes at all, you cant edit your character

when you are a girl and you wear the vevetine neck ribblon and you equip it in your inventory with a jacket, it shows up, but after you save it, it does not. However, if you remove the jacket and save it, the ribbon is equipped.

Coats like the High-school long coat, and the black long coat go over mouth items like the pipe, obscuring them from vision.
Studded Collars and Flannel Shirt dont go together, its a layering glitch, the collar goes away after you save.

typo: after you have deleted your character and you re-make it the button says "save charcter" instead of "save character".

because gaia is having trouble reading unicode and ascii (not a to z or 0 to 9) it is hard for users with these things in their name (crim' skylicker , ~phoenix~ , etc.) to get a trading pass because gaia does not read this things correct it sees the name as something else (crim. skylicker) and since there is no account on this name it gives an error. please change servers to get around this bug, not all servers have this bug.
a glitche in the completed trades list: all the links in that list lead to the same page.

when you click on the "dead link" option, it just takes you to a blank page. Some of the links sections have a lot of dead links piling up.
When you submit a site and have to chose your country, two options appears at the bottom of the list which are not countries: "thumbs.db" and "index.html"

Gaia is most compatable with Internet Explorer on a pc. That's what Lanzer uses, so he's made everything with IE in mind. On Macs, Safari is actually the best browser to view Gaia with. Though no matter what, glitches and such still occur. the biggest thing I found with Netscape is the fact that the buttons with creating avatars didnt work. Lanzer did some debugging for AOL servers, some problems should be solved by now. ^_^

VENDING
if your gold is missing in the marketplace and you didnt get your item, you should contact the seller of the item (write down their name 3nodding ) and ask them to either accept or cancel the latest bid in their store.
Why? Simple...for some reason even when the auction is experided the item is still on the marketplace. Please act like this, untill the problems are solved.
If you cant put anything up in the market place, though you have bought a vending pass, there is no real sollutions, even the mods dont know the how and why neutral
its impossible to search for items with a ' or a # or a / in it sad since the item name is in the adressbar, and adressbars dont support those characters, an error occurs sad
its impossible to sell giftboxes (with a reason stare ) and mail of Gambino neutral
